if i want to change something i've written on a cheque do i just write my initials by it or do i need to actually sign it with my signature?

I alwyas sign it just to be sure.

I've always intialled it without any problems. Don't know if thats bank policy

well i thought it was ok to initial but that seems stupid to me - anyone can write two letters on a piece of paper! have signed on the basis that i think that is what banks should only accept. don't want to be all hypocritical now do i
