my experian score has rocketed up to nearly excellent after getting married. thing is one of my major credit card debt is missing from the report. It's really odd, would my name change make this look different?

why does it matter

Did you let Experian know your maiden name if you changed it? I think you need to provide evidence.

Just because Experian is showing the high score doesn't mean companies you apply for credit with cannot see that credit card with debt (past 6 years).

Married people do get a higher score. It generally shows stability.

Lenders don't see the made up score experian sell you.

They'll have their own models and risk appetite, and will go by your actual credit history.

should i cancel the experian sub?

100% it's nonsense, you don't need to pay to see your credit report.

I use clearscore, it's free and links to equifax.
