We have our own regularly returning bots to tell us how bullying and hateful we are.

Glossary:

Bots: our affectionate name for victims of the MLM racket

MLM: Multi-level Marketing schemes - essentially pyramid schemes that are just legal because you sell a product. Reliant upon constant recruitment despite there not being enough people in the world to go beyond about 12 levels if everyone recruited 6.

Downline/Upline: the people you recruited and those who recruited you (going up and down the pyramid inverted funnel)

Timeless Vie: Parody of MLM schemes (though you might spot one in particular) that also carries out fearless investigative work

Hommetrepreneur: also excellent parody site focussing on the menz

BotWatch: Rather more serious, keeps an eye on what the Bots are claiming next, particularly in reference to health and income claims. Also fearless.

Inverted Funnel: Timeless Vie is NOT a pyramid - it's an inverted Funnel, OK?

Eyes: Our former member Eyespying who knows LOTS about MLM schemes. He's still our very own #manhun.

Twunk (AKA ForeverYazoonique) has a bottle of Banana Yazoo in her fridge. She's still too afraid to drink it. Yahoo is important as seems to be the primary retail product for Life Tree World.

There is a vague hint of fact in that itWorks fat blocker thing - wasn't there a product in recent years which you took that stopped much of the fat in your food intake from being absorbed by the gut? It wasn't that popular though ..... because of the anal leakage.

I know it's easy to say but just don't eat it in the first place. I'll find out soon but do they teach basic food chemistry v human physiology in schools? It should be on the MLM Resistance manifesto!!

Yes there are such products, or you could have your gallbladder removed and you get a similar effect (not as extreme as you suggest)

Only a couple of days till the business in a boxes drops from 2CC to 1CC. It should be interesting to see what kind of impact it has.

It feels most bots have gone very quiet since the rally. Not so much promotional material being shared on FB anyways. Although I do think that bots are starting to get a feel for the general taste that their gloaty fakeness leaves in people's mouths and are planning on playing a different game now.

Any insights into possible new approaches from what you've seen?

The lady who dropped off a box of stuff to me (a while ago) said she'd collect it along with several others she'd given out. So I guess you'd have to have a few boxes to give people to try stuff out.

I guess if they did little samples the FBO's wouldn't have to buy loads of bottles of the stuff.

They do actually do samples Dolly, I was given some before along with one of the purchases I made out of kindness in a bots early days. The tooth gel was rather disgusting and the cream has a strange play dough smell.

I'm going for £1,000. But she'll have actually spent more as some of the products will be monthly.

I wonder if she's followed Forever Living's advice by putting her usual, high-quality products (i.e non-Forever Fibbing stuff) in a big black bin bag under the stairs?

I hope she doesn't get that bag mixed up with the infamous bag of negative gremlins or she might end up stamping on some very nice products: the gremlins will escape, advance on the fridge, jizz in your gouda, hump a few bottles of Yazoo and metamorphose into banana-shaped devices (with wings) which attack MLM adherents in their sleep.

Best not think about it too much or it might actually happen - and we'll only have ourselves to blame for our misfortune.

I think they will be pushing the retail. I have seen the previous mentioned post about buying from mlms shared a lot, and lots about supporting small businesses.

It may now be seen easier to sell a couple of c9's than to recruit. So I expect a big push on retail, special offers, prize draws, free gifts all thrown in.

I think they are cottoning on as well to the fact the 'fake it till you make it' posts are seen as a turn off rather than encouraging people to sign up.

Well you'll simply have to be more mindful of other posters' sensibilities.

Think of poor Forever, lying there relying only on a dog to protect her in the wee small hours while unspeakable things might be happening in her fridge! Do you really expect her to manage with only the power of positive Mindset?

Will adherents not likely have to buy their 'free gifts', prizes etc?

Ahem as a matter of fact I positively marched up to the fridge earlier and opened it with sheer determination in my soul. And then I saw a beer bottle. The beer was calling to me.

I am armed with not only the useless black spaniel but also the electric drill DH inexplicably put under the bed the other month day that I've not moved since.

Plus I've shut all the doors. The yazoo lacks opposable thumbs I note.
