Still going strong here at bot watch HQ on MN!

Previous thread here

Botwatch on Wordpress and on Facebook

Timeless Vie on Wordpress and on Facebook

Eyespeying's Blog aka #manhun, even if he's been banned by MNHQ

Hommetepreneur on Facebook

NEW Link to the Daily Mail article of 20 May 2016 regarding an ex-bot's treatment at the hands of her 'spline' at Forever Living UK

NEW Link to NastashaBarnbotShingles' refutation of the above.

We have our own regularly returning bots to tell us how bullying and hateful we are.

Glossary:

Bots: our affectionate name for victims of the MLM racket

MLM: Multi-level Marketing schemes - essentially pyramid schemes that are just legal because you sell a product. Reliant upon constant recruitment despite there not being enough people in the world to go beyond about 12 levels if everyone recruited 6.

Downline/Upline: the people you recruited and those who recruited you (going up and down the pyramid inverted funnel)

Timeless Vie: Parody of MLM schemes (though you might spot one in particular) that also carries out fearless investigative work

Hommetrepreneur: also excellent parody site focussing on the menz

BotWatch: Rather more serious, keeps an eye on what the Bots are claiming next, particularly in reference to health and income claims. Also fearless.

Inverted Funnel: Timeless Vie is NOT a pyramid - it's an inverted Funnel, OK?

Eyes: Our former member Eyespying who knows LOTS about MLM schemes. He's still our very own #manhun.

Twunk (AKA ForeverYazoonique) has a bottle of Banana Yazoo in her fridge. She's still too afraid to drink it. Yahoo is important as seems to be the primary retail product for Life Tree World.

It would be a celebratory milkshake for you, Forever.

Sorry and all! Grin

cozietoesie · 09/06/2016 10:45

I of course shall be having a slurp of hard liquor. Wink Life is tough.

Toobusytowee · 09/06/2016 12:10

Ex FLP bots, I need your help. I have a journalist asking for people to come forward to help her with a story which involves explaining the pressures behind recruiting and achieving targets. You will be anonymous. She needs to speak to someone today. Contact me for further details. Please help and we will have another mainstream press article exposing MLMs for what they are. Thanks.

In fact a wee bit more digging suggests his wife is an FL Bot.

EauDeParslaii · 09/06/2016 12:26

Toobusy check BW's Facebook pm's - I've done more digging x

Lalalollypop · 09/06/2016 12:26

Ok I'm wondering if my above posts are allowed. Will report them and simply say I have PMd bot watch and suggested that they look into the original author of vet article a little more.

cozietoesie · 09/06/2016 12:52

Thanks for that, Toobusy. Smile

cozietoesie · 09/06/2016 12:59

I see that Timeless Vie have 1700 likes now - even though, like BotWatch I guess, people are holding back from 'liking' it because of the reaction of eg friends and uplines. (Doesn't stop them reading it though. Smile)

cozietoesie · 09/06/2016 13:00

PS - in fact, there's a new Timeless Vie piece touching on that very subject. Worth a read. Smile

I've had a re-read of the journalist's message and she says 'MLM'. So anyone involved in an MLM.

I've updated BW's page on the vet article. It seems David did write the original article! Sorry David. I wonder though why the magazine hasn't updated their online version to amend this?

Toobusytowee · 09/06/2016 13:28

Anyone who WAS involved in an MLM and who had a hard time, I should have said. Or even someone still involved who is feeling the pressure and is having a bad experience.

If anyone is still in an MLM and having second thoughts, speak to Timeless Vie or Bot Watch in confidence. We can help you make sense of what is happening to you. Or just join in here.

Foreverfibbing · 09/06/2016 16:19

Well, well, well!

Looks like the exodus from FL has well and truly started. I've noticed a lot of bots have jumped ship to the likes of LTW and Maelle recently. An uber bot, who may or may not live in a house you might find in a fairytale, had a guru turn up and he posted a video of their encounter. I note one of the comments was far from complimentary, which led me to some interesting posts re top bots and uplines and bullyboy tactics. Can't say much more without giving the game away, but things are definitely developing over at FL, and not in a good way (for them).

EauDeParslaii · 09/06/2016 16:26

Ohhh fibbing this sounds incredibly intriguing! I am amazed at the willingness to jump ship to other MLMs so readily Hmm

stopfaffing · 09/06/2016 16:45

Toobusy, interesting to find out that David wrote the article. Makes sense though because it was entirely complimentary about using aloe with horses Grin.

Foreverfibbing · 09/06/2016 17:24

Oh, and in news just in, that less than complimentary comment has now been deleted

Toobusytowee · 09/06/2016 17:50

I thought the same Stopfaffing!

stopfaffing · 09/06/2016 18:19

Forever I trust the posts were not deleted before screenshotting??? Wink

NorbertDentressangle · 09/06/2016 18:23

I wish we had a klaxon that went off on our computers/phones when an interesting post comes up on facebook as I always seem to miss them. I've missed this one Sad

These bots must patrol their pages religiously with their fingers hovering over the Delete button .

ForeverYazoonique · 09/06/2016 19:16

Missed it too. Wink
