Is anyone into this?

I think it sounds really interesting but not sure whether to give it a go. Is it worth learning how to do it?

Yes I've been doing it for 9 weeks and have made £1500. Do be aware that you need rather a large 'bank' for liability so that you're able to tackle the bigger offers that make the most money

I've made £400 from the bingo and around £200 from the casinos and the rest has been football. I joined profit accumulator as its the best I think

I've taken a break from it for the past week as sometimes you really are picking over the offers but always hang in there as something always suddenly comes up

It's worth doing so go for it but the more money you're able to put into it, the better placed you'll be to tackle the best most profitable offers

I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for some extra money. I've done it for a few years now (once you've gone through the sign-up offers, the bookies will often give offers to existing customers too for ages afterwards).

I normally make £300 to £500 a month, though it really depends on what offers the bookmaker have on that month (and they'll often have big offers for special events like big football matches, world cups, etc).

It's definitely a good way of making a couple of grand relatively easily, and then if you find that you enjoy it, you can keep on going making money.

Well, once you've learned the matched betting techniques it really is quite straightforward (though it is important that you spend the time understanding it properly).

The bookies have large marketing budgets to try and attract new customers, and so will offer free bets and other promotions as an inducement. They hope that you get used to betting with them, using their websites etc, and once you've used the free bets you'll carry on spending (and cover the cost of the free bets many times over). Of course, the canny matched bettor will only extract value from the free bet, and not gamble/lose their own money.

Sorry if I haven't understood this but, if you are matching/ covering each bet for the same amount then this cancels out any profit ? Where/how does the 'big money' come from ?

The "big money" comes from the freebets and other offers the bookies give you.

I did this last year and ended up stopping because every time there is a new offer you have to give all your personal details to another company, including photo ID, proof of address, photos of your credit card. After I had signed up to the first dozen or so, I really didn't want to give my data out any more. It works for some people, if you don't mind that bit of it.
