A friend has joined up. I already knew about FL via my old friend. Friend is trying to get me to join. I don't really buy into the millionaire mindset. I have enough via traditional work and study hard route.

I just can't see how she has bought into it. Can you point me to to a link on the target stuff?

I have enough crap in my life without this. I need a good excuse to say it's not for me, so far that's being met with wolley facts

Mrshumblepants · 10/05/2016 15:33

2boys if you go back to the page 1 of this thread, you will find the links for timeless vie, botwatch, mlmdreammadenightmare and a number of other very informative posts and links, that you can either point your friend to as your reasoning behind not being interested, or quote from. Hope that helps?

2boysnamedR · 10/05/2016 15:56

Thanks, i will have a look

LMGTFY · 10/05/2016 16:28

It seems it suncream time folks! I can't seem to find any evidence that FL's super aloe suncream has actually been tested to have the spf it claims, nor that it is broad spectrum and protects against uva and uvb, please can anyone help me with where to look?

Mrshumblepants · 10/05/2016 16:47

That is a very good point lmgtfy! I certainly have zero knowledge when it comes to regulating sun protection products, so would probably just blindly assume that a product does what it is supposed to because it said so! Probaby not a great way to approach something so important really... 😬 Do we have anyone knowledgable on sun protection products here?

LMGTFY · 10/05/2016 16:57

Just with their track record of making false medical claims I would expect to see evidence this wasn't another one before putting it near a child not that I would buy this shite, I have a bot pedaling it at the mo.

LeafTreeRaker · 10/05/2016 16:57

The sun cream was recommended on my local gossip girls page today. Then again, someone else suggested Piz Buin and I'm pretty sure that failed a test in the last 2 years or so...

cozietoesie · 10/05/2016 18:08

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if the Stratospheric Ones in any MLM put out new policy documents advocating This or That. They're in the business of continuing to protect The Centre (and continuing to receive the $$$$) so a nice little policy document which helps - with regulators - to continue to insulate them from what is happening on the ground is only to be expected.

Thanks Mrs and Twunk

I have a link now to someone who can provide information on how it works here (sadly from bitter experience but they escaped early) so that will be woven into the finished article.

Next step is gathering data from my, thankfully, large group of friends from many countries. You know - real data Wink

I just wanted some opinion on how the wording so far sounded.

Oh, and here's a kitten for you

I hope that kitten isn't going to be cooked! 😱

I think it's a fine idea to write the article. Could help serve as a warning to all those moving to the ME.

OP posts:
Mrshumblepants · 10/05/2016 19:35

Will you be sharing the finished article on expat forums CAM?

CamelsAndMaus · 10/05/2016 19:52

Mrs I'm not sure. I need to know more about how MLM companies are dealt with in Dubai and the rest of the Middle East; given that me and my family are currently still living here.

I also know from experience before we moved here there was a lot of shit posted on expat forums just about moving here (and we have so far had a great experience). This is a worldwide problem.

The ME is just a great recruiting ground because of the demographics.

CamelsAndMaus · 10/05/2016 19:56

Ok. Need to be up in the morning with the DCs. Here's a late night kitten for you (here anyway)

I am hoping our resident bots can confirm this, but we have heard on the grapevine that there is a bit of a change at FLHQ and their 'compensation plan' has been amended.

You will now only get 1.085 case credits for recruitment (rather than 2). Something about the Business in a Box only containing that because they have to keep the price under £200, whereas other countries have to pay more (but get more in their box). The UK is being "brought into line" with everyone else.

The lengths to which they are trying to put a 'positive spin' on this is quite frankly, and literally, unbelievable.

cozietoesie · 10/05/2016 20:09

Any such move would feel to me like a reaction to 'harder times', especially when combined with any policy changes as already posted about.

crumpetsfortea37 · 10/05/2016 20:11

I just saw some information from a different source (part of my j.o.b.) that suggested that any images uploaded to Facebook no longer belong to the uploader (part of facebook's ts and cs) .
Do any of the legal keyboard warriors on this thread know if that is true?
(I seem to recal some threads back that certain bots were complaint re uploading Facebook images)

crumpetsfortea37 · 10/05/2016 20:12

Complaining not complaint - sorry

One of the FL managers has just had a baby , not quite 2 weeks ago. She had 3 days "off" and has since been out on meetings, sizzles, and recruiting, helping others with their "businesses ". She has admited today that she is sluring her words through tiredness. The baby goes everywhere with her and her partner. I dont really know her but find myself quite worried about her. What with sleepless nights and just trying to recover from labour and trying to get into a routine ( which isnt easy), I can see her burning herself out. Apparently she had a terrible labour too. Sad

noyouarenotalifestylecoach · 10/05/2016 20:28

Twunk how does that fit around the standard recruit 2CC/sell 2CC plan they push so hard?

Bad news in bot land!

I guess the reality of this means that people will be buying more CCs each month for themselves to cover it, since we already know this is a frequent occurrence.

Twunk · 10/05/2016 20:40

Exactly lifestylecoach

Now even if you recruit 2 bots you must STILL do 2CC retail. And you will get 4CCs for that (when in the past you would have had 6CC for the same effort).

Trying to make it look 'positive' is impossible. You get more 'profit' from retail but it's even harder work!

Gosh Annie she should be at home and resting! That's crazy! In NL we get a "kraamzorg" - a nurse who comes for a few hours a day for the first 8 days (sometimes 10 if there are extra reasons). They do stuff like cleaning, changing beds (I had fresh sheets every day to prevent infection, and she cleaned my bathroom like a dervish!). They also teach you skills with the baby, check weight, check feeding. And they make you lovely breakfasts and lunch! Anyway, she wouldn't let me out for a walk until DS1 was a week old!! They make sure you rest as much as possible.

LeafTreeRaker · 10/05/2016 21:04

I wonder how the Dutch FL top bots would deal with the 'hassle' of child birth. I mean, a nurse telling you to do nothing for the first week would really affect your bizness, would it not? Hmm

Twunk · 10/05/2016 21:20

You'd probably get them contacting your warn list...

OP posts:
Bovnydazzlers · 10/05/2016 21:30

That is a massive change in the compensation plan if that does change. I wonder how much the top uk bots had to do with it and how much has just been imposed upon them. Can't see it being good news if you're a normal bot though.

Well this popped up on my Facebook, they're multiplying!
