The claims above don't Suprise me
We were always told to use Great ormand Street as an example it was on the slides we used to use!!!!
the compliance team did say we had to stop using that claim though about a year or more ago! But people still do

Toobusytowee · 05/05/2016 00:27

Fear of leaving a group is a major cult trait.

Seenthelight21 · 05/05/2016 00:30

I felt scared to leave.... 100% and when I did pluck up the courage I was deleted off FB blocked... talked about etc it was horrid

I didn't realise till I left I was in fact part of a cult

Toobusytowee · 05/05/2016 00:31

That's interesting seenthelight. I wonder why they said to stop making the claims? And why is it still in their ad pack as an allowed claim?

Seenthelight21 · 05/05/2016 00:31

They way they all worship those at the top constantly at events and so publicly on social media should have been a big warning ha! Shock

Seenthelight21 · 05/05/2016 00:32

Yes we were told not to mention it at all well over a year ago and it was removed from slides and they were made 'compliant'

Toobusytowee · 05/05/2016 00:33

No one ever joins a cult knowingly.

CamelsAndMaus · 05/05/2016 04:14

BS I'd see your camel and raise you one; but DH is off out to look for a third wife.

twunk yes. I have five I can send you. You need to watch them with Brabantia bins though and they operate as a herd.

Ok. Off to use my google fu and see what new beauties I can come up with (then off to walk this dog)

I'll just leave this one here botwatchblog.wordpress.com/2016/05/04/forever-living-using-sick-children-great-ormond-street-hospital-and-a-charity-to-make-unsubstantiated-health-claims/

I am sure botfan after reading this will be thrilled to be associated with Forever Living

throwingpebbles · 05/05/2016 07:04

twunk as posted on an earlier thread I can confirm that aloe most definitely is a laxative Blush

Toobusytowee · 05/05/2016 07:16

Botfan, have you ever tried to find out what nutrients are in the aloe drinking gel? What are your thoughts on the last two Botwatchblog posts? Have you been told not to say anything about Great Ormond Street?
Oh, and what is FL's churn rate? Has anyone found out yet or have you not asked?

'off' should be of Grin.

Nolongerconfused · 05/05/2016 07:55

I'm sorry / ashamed to say I did use GOSH as an example a few times in launches as I was told that they did use it and I didn't check it out myself. My upline used it as an example so I had copied her.
I then heard we weren't to use it as GOSH were aware we used it and didn't want it publicised. So I stopped.
In regards to the aloe ingredients i have my product manual here so I'll dig it out. We were always told it was 100% inner leaf gel (the outer lead isn't used and it's the outer leaf which has the laxative effect) and the only thing they added was lemon and lime to stabilise & preserve it.

I guess I shouldn't post this then (quick youtube search as were my others)

Oh and Botfan, if you'd like some help with your use of English grammar just ask. I'll even send you a copy of "Eats shoots and leaves". I'm sure it was better in previous posts.

"Company's" should be "companies"
Share rather than shared I'll pass as a typo
mums net rules should be Mumsnet's rules (you actually need the apostrophe for this one).

Actually I have seen aloe being referenced for hair growth too by FL bots.

Camels

An older friend of mine was once BFF with a certain emir (or equivalent) who had four wives and then married a fifth whom he apparently installed in a large houseboat in a nearby lagoon. (Some Interpretation of writings about having four 'on this earth' etc.) I grant you that this was a long long time ago but you might still wish to know - DH has a ways to go, I reckon.

Just sayin'. Wink

BSintolerant · 05/05/2016 08:49

cozie that is some interpretation. I suppose a lagoon isn't made from earth, but still! Technically speaking he'd have to buy his other wives exactly the same houseboat each because he's duty-bound to treat them equally.

He'd do so well in Forever. He could recruit all four wives and buy each one equal copious amounts of wampum. Their dowries could even include a lagoon of aloe vera.

Sheik Al-Bot would make manager in no time at all! Wink

#youlookokhabibi

cozietoesie · 05/05/2016 09:02

That would have been a very rich (eg dripping in diamonds) type emir (or equivalent.) Grin Still, the tale was idle chat over a Gin or three. Wink

Toobusytowee · 05/05/2016 09:12

Nolongerconfused and seenthelight, please can I use your comments on the blog post?
