That's the thing, the aim of LTW is to get enough sign ups so you get your £200 and essentially your shopping becomes "free" (assuming your downline keeps up their end of the bargain). The thing is, alot of the shopping isn't shopping you'd normally get, yes some of it is, but if people are gifting items to others or putting items into a food bank, then you're not getting all your shopping free.
Your earlier post said you'd spend £220 on products there, I assume that's to get your 100 points. So that's on items you'd actually want and you admit the hamper is a cheaper way of doing it. I've heard this story alot of times now, but it sounds almost like people are just buying food in order to justify getting their next shop for free. It's basically a buy 3 get one free offer but on a huge amount of products, alot of them being products people don't really want/need.
I have no doubt that, as with other MLMs, if you can convince enough people to join you can make a bit or money, however my morals would prevent me as I know that there's a good chance that someone I got involved would lose money and I would feel too guilty.
