Ah, confused... That makes sense, as a certain bot was making a big deal about her cleaner on her profile not too long ago, did think it was a bit weird!

this is what I hate about the way they condition and coach f.b.o. to behave, on one hand you are coached to talk about residual income then you're encouraged to do things that mean having any residual income will be impossible.
For instance you don't build a residual income by renting a flashy house, leasing a big car, paying cleaners, or spending way more than anyone else on toiletries and cleaning products and beauty treatments. You only reduce the chance of it.

A cleaner and a childminder are musts!
No time to look after your own children as too busy building a business. Just schedule time for "selfies once a day" with said inconveniences children.

That's what really gets to me the childminder thing. My upline (a few up) had a Skype with me once and actually said I should put my 2yr old in Creche. My reply was but I'm doing this business so I can stay at home with DC. Also encouraged to put DC on formula or express so I can attend events I didn't do either and haven't had a Skype since!

confusedbot you're not alone in this at all. Have you read Merchants of Deception? Theres a free dowbload. It's the true life experience of an Amway Diamond. if you read it you will draw paralells.

Residual income is a load of bull. You still have to do / buy your 4cc each month unless you are a diamond manager. I think they have to do 1cc retail.
Plus the business isn't will able as your kids will inherit the stress of 4cc each month too.

😳😉💗 have just realised folks, we will be at thread number 20 before too long! Wow, that must really be pissing the mlms off, they have sent in trolls, lawyers, made threats and called us all nasty Hun Haterz but still, here we are, the irritating monkey on their back! (thats a crumb for the troll) 😂😂

Keep it up folks, we are doing good work here educating the public, exposing the charlatans, clamping down on medical claims and pushing for stronger restrictions on how these companies can operate.

I'm sure others have said this before, but what is really, really grating on be at the moment about FL in particular:

1. I've had a company car in most of my jobs since leaving uni. At no point did I feel the need to tell everyone how #blessed I was. I also didn't come under pressure to increase my productivity to keep the car- it was something I needed for my job, so the company paid for it, as well as my road tax, insurance, maintenance, and fuel used on company business.
2. I've been on 3 holidays 'won' through work. Again, I did not feel the need to tell the world how #blessed I was. I just quietly enjoyed myself.
3. I would've been very annoyed if on my 'holidays' I was expected to attend endless meetings. Global Rally is not a holiday. It is work.
4. There is no way I would fly all the way to South Africa for 4 days. I'd be one exhausted #bossbabe with major jet lag.
5. I got a bonus this year. The only person who knows about it is my DH, because telling everyone how #blessed I was would make me look a bit daft...

The amazing #oportunities offered by FL are the same opportunities that I've had throughout my career, but with a million strings attached. On top of this, I also have the basic rights of an employee, like sick pay, and a decent pension.

Finally, it makes me so desperately sad that a very good friend of mine has been sucked into FL. They have sold her a pipe dream and her confidence is being chipped away day by day. She was suckered in whilst on maternity leave with her first baby, at her most vulnerable, by someone at her baby group. It's like watching a car crash

I first got involved in botwatching after a friend got sucked into a coloured powders mlm, like Juice plus but Polish and big in London.
She made false medical claims for the product when she tried to sell to me. My bullshit detector went off, I did some Googling, found this forum, read merchants of deception and was horrified. Then another friend (who has a poorly little boy) got sucked into Forever. I knew a bit more about mlm by then.
I've since read most of the mlm coaching books and watched a lot of the training. Because I've never been in an mlm (despite being told that I have been), I've run my own work from home business for most of my working life.
I'm not a hater. I'm a feminist, I'm pro equality, which is why I'm not mad on Rex and his penchant for donating money to anti equality campaigns. I do not like seeing women and mothers exploited. I do not like seeing wealthy American billionaires targetting our country with scams that continually flout UK law. I do not like seeing the integrity of our NHS workers compromised by these schemes. Could go on
Imagine all of the wonderful things we could do instead of supporting these mlms, we could probably support young mothers in genuine work from home businesses and keep the money in our economy rather than siphoning UK £ off to Utah like this.

Look at this poor girl posting in a team page today - yes Fanboy I am on the team pages I'm not pretending to be in FL!
Loads of comments too telling her they feel the same and they will all do it together.
I never once have said "I will be there" because deep down I know I won't.

Also the latest trend is to get up at 5am!!!! They set up a group and you have to post in it as evidence you are up and working!

Well put rae Its just so crass isnt it? I love the "wealth whispers" quote that someone used up thread, In my line of work, I have dealt with some incredibly rich people, they certainly dont pitch up with giant cheques, waffling on about how amaaaazing they are, calling themselves global business coaches and have ridiculous personalised stationary etc, Nope, they turn up, make themselves a cuppa and act like normal human beings. do they have nice things? Yes, of course... Do they brag about it? No, they really dont, in fact to do so would highly embarrass them. I also never see them brag about the charity work they do either.

Oh confused that is so very very sad, god I hope she sees the light soon, the desperation in her post and blaming herself has actually really struck me, wow. Thank you for sharing that with us, I wonder if we can do anything to help? xx

yes, Raeskywalker, as you say its not a free holiday, its a work conference that you have to win. I mentioned on much older threads, I used to work for a company where we held conferences in very flash locations. We went to a resort in Scottsdale one year, funnily enough. Also Dominican republic, Rome, were two I attended. As a freelance I've been sent on several more, but they pay my flight, hotel, expenses and I charge them my day rate. This is normal in a normal business. It was work though. Yes there was a few hours off each day, we could go shopping and use the pool but it was knackering - because it was WORK. Not a holiday. The global rally isn't a holiday either. Holidays aren't spent in conference centres.

Ive just reread it, what she appears to basically be saying is, her morals/ethics have held her back but she realises she will have to ignore these in order to do better. Does anyone else read it that way?

Anyone seen the sad news about BHS? Shouldnt be long before a certain bot is all over that one like a bad rash.

I can't really PM here as she'll likely tell top bot and expose me. I think the best thing you can do is keep up with this as it has clearly made me and many others think twice. Although we are encouraged NOT to look / tell our teams about this thread and timeless Vie as it would ruin our mindset make us see the light! They are desperate to flush out the non believers from the team page. Some pages have a post bar on them. Like a filter so your post will be approved and that's in case of negativity. Freedom of speech is non existent

smiinky I can't believe that they're peddling a conference abroad as something glamorous: I always found the ones abroad flipping awful, because there was no escape from it! I went to one in Berlin once and honestly was in bed for the whole weekend afterwards- I was so tired from having to be in 'work mode' 24/7. I also strongly agree with your previous post- as far as I'm concerned, MLM is a feminist issue.

And on the groups without filters if someone posts a negative post then the top bot will ask in her manager group who does this person belong too? And we have to contact our team member and ask them not to post negativity. If anyone likes that post / comments on it then we will also have to contact them. We will be "told off" for not helping them more controlling their minds enough

There is a lot of awareness of TV amongst managers I think. The team pages can have 1000's of people on them so it's hard to say who knows what.
We have been told a while back not to use the terms "Hun" or #bossbabe #askmehow etc and i now think that is because of TV. Presume that if someone #bossbabe they might come across a TV post.

I would just like to point out that I have a new company car every 3 years and I have a cleaner! Whoop whoop! And when my son was in and out of hospital for 8 months I got paid and supported and didn't have to try and recruit the nurses! My husband was told to take any time he needed.

All this mind control sounds very sinister. It's quite normal to complain about your job from time to time (and to enjoy it too!).
