A quick Question

Does anyone know or can point me to some info on the web about fencing? What I want to know is, which side of my garden am I responsible for the fencing?

I live in a mid terrace house. Am I responsible for the left side or the right side?

I am not an expert but I am pretty sure it is the right hand side, as you face the house from the front. this is the case for ours.

I bet I x posts now with someone who says left

TheBlonde · 09/01/2007 21:11

depends what it says on your house deeds

Hattie05 · 09/01/2007 21:12

Mines the left, so yes you need to check your deeds.

TheArmadillo · 09/01/2007 21:12

I think it depends on where you are (where my parents are all of them are jointly owned - that's fun ). YOur local council I think can tell you.

As The Blonde says check the deeds - may be shared, may be left, may be right, may be all of it.....

SleepySuzy · 09/01/2007 21:17

Have a read of this - don't know if it helps or not, but it seems the only way to check for sure is the title deeds?

Thanks all - look in the deed and I'm responsible for the left side.
