applied for a job - fabby 16 hours p/w, £5.50 p/h didn't expect to hear anything. got a call today with an interview weds. fabby.

now, I rang a potential CM, also IR. apparently on our earnings - a whopping £24K incl mine and DH's combined. i'm entitled to £26 p/m towards my childcare costs of £144.

a) does that sound about right to u? (our actual TC is £55) but I thought you had more for some reason - more like 75%.

so in all i'd have £220 after i'd paid my CM for doing 64 hours work during the month. (and i'd drop my credits I'm assuming - well the bloke actually didn't say they'd drop) now the money would come in handy, (althou we're just coping without it) I'd love time away form J. but is it really worth doing it? would you do it?

it does sound about right to me im afraid.

it depends how much you need that £220-if you cope fine without it, maybe that could be your treat or holiday fund?the 75% figure is the max, based on a sliding scale of earnings-the more you earn, the less % you get.
