financial ignoramus. How do I pay invoices with my credit card?

I am putting an advert for my business in a local paper. They have sent me an invoice but I want to pay for the advert on my credit card. Is this even possible? And how do I do it?

It depends if the local paper accepts payment by credit card - what does it say on the invoice re payment?
