A brief history of the threads so far-

A few people were bemused at their friends' strange personality changes when they joined MLMs.
Eyespying told us they were tragicomic, thought stopping cultic racketeers.
We told him to go away, he was clearly obsessed, and can he go to his own serious thread?
We delved a bit deeper into the issues.
Eyes started creeping back. We told him he was too serious.
We became more horrified at the information being turned up and were sharing links.
Eyes told us aboutMerchants of Deception.
Timeless Vie was set up as a parody about MLMs.[[www.facebook.com/timelessvie
Facebook,]] Twitter, blog, Instagram and YouTube were all used.
People started coming forward, telling of their experiences in MLMs.
We became more horrified.
Bot Watch started on Facebook where links were put up of interest to do with MLMs.
Botwatchblog started and produced factual analysis of the discussions from MN.
MLM members (bots) waded in saying it was all ok. You can earn great money. You just have to work 19 hours a day and not worry about morals.
Bots complained about their names being used. Their lawyers complained to MNHQ so that MN now do not allow us to use bots' names or show screengrabs of their writings even if it is in the public domain.
Blogs and FB posts increased, with the increasing amount of facts and whistleblowers coming forward.
FL lawyer tried to get TV YouTube video banned.
Bots claimed we were bullying them because we were asking them questions they couldn't answer. we were called middle aged women and accused of being drug dealers.
It got a bit nasty so we ate some cheese for a bit and they went away.
Health claims from FL bots now reducing dramatically as a result of pestering from all of us.
We stopped telling Eyes he was too serious. We all started thinking in his language and realised he was right.
Eyes turned out to be very funny and entertained us all.
Sunday Times article produced exposing FL. With a little help from people here.
Lawyers still persisting in trying to ban TV's videos.

Thanks Cubic. Smile

cozietoesie · 29/03/2016 23:18

Interestingly, I noticed that a huge number of the many YouTube videos about one prominent MLM are posted by people who are clearly not the originators of the piece.

I wondered whether you get brownie points for offering a tasty morsel to your up line to use? A bonus even? Smile

Twunk · 29/03/2016 23:26

I know cozie but I'm all ready with my "evidence" "science" "placebo" rant and I want to use it!

LeanneBattersby · 29/03/2016 23:26

Dolly I've sent it over.

LeanneBattersby · 29/03/2016 23:28

My Bot has gone too far this time.

Sounds like the closing line of an episode of Eastenders Grin

throwingpebbles · 29/03/2016 23:31

Leanne too right Suffolk does have a very dark and sinister side as well

Botof - wow. I wonder how many millionaires she has created? I'm going to hazard a guess with NONE.

Also the right people = the wrong people.

You know, the ones who would flog their granny if they could get an extra CC in their monthly totals!

Bot, old bean.

You can't, under current MN rules, have stuff which identifies people. This might be one to ask MNHQ for picture/post removal prior to 'cleansing' and re-posting perhaps?

throwingpebbles · 30/03/2016 00:08

this rule being despite the fact that that post is publicly accessible to everyone in the whole sodding world

DollyTwat · 30/03/2016 00:21

This pic has had a few of us chuckling
Is it rented we mused?
How much did it all cost we wondered?

lol

what comes to mind is 'pot, kettle, black' hehehehe

Toobusytowee · 30/03/2016 00:30

I don't know what it is with the bots tonight, but those health claims are being reported to Bot Watch thick and fast! That bee pollen one has to be the worst though. And one shocking Juice Plus one!

Keep them coming.

Thanks all for some great spotting.

I know, throwing. I know. But it's MN's ba' and they've asked us to fit in with certain guidelines. I'm sure that no-one posting would wish to see a situation where the threads had so many posts removed that they became 'unreadable' or where MNHQ - who I suspect are under some degree of pressure on this matter - decided that allowing the threads to proceed was not worth the candle.

That worm meme makes about as much sense as an MLM marketing plan.

You'd think Forever Fibbing had a cure for worms, wouldn't you?🐛 Or maybe they're working on a new worm-based product:

Eeeek Huns! The WC9 is even more orrrsum than the C9!!!! Instead of drinking aloe juice, just swallow one of these tapeworms which was harvested from the purest Mormon soil all the way from darkest Utah.

On the last day of the WC9 detox just drink some aloe gloop and your worm will be so disgusted by the taste that it will wriggle out!!!! You can then catch it and keep it in the white jam jar (us bots love our white jam jars!!!) which you'll find inside your kit (along with a tapeworm measure and a complimentary arse-scratching device) where it will wriggle happily ever after until the next time you want to detox. You might find it hard to swallow, but WC9 really is the gift that keeps on giving!"

Warning:do not attempt to tempt worms out when listening to mindset tapeworms by Dr Brain O'Wash as this can make worms split in two before metamorphosing into willable eyebrows.

Patzy85 · 30/03/2016 00:40

Just read the comments on the aloe playhouse (original FL post) and someone says she's wanting to make an igloo shaped one for the local nursery, even with a ;) at the end.

Maybe she thinks she's a marketing genius?

I highly doubt the nursery will accept it love, save yourself time and effort GrinGrinGrin

Also this isn't 'beautiful' or 'amazing'. It's some plywood covered in recycled bottles. It's like the kind of thing you'd make after watching art attack and getting a bit too ambitious with the PVA! No child wants an aloe-vera-drinking-gel-bottle encrusted house. That we can surely all agree on?

The packaging alone is hideous, let alone the content Grin (and yes bots, I've tried most stuff and it's bloody crap!)

cozietoesie · 30/03/2016 00:41

I've noticed by the way that most of the prize cars in other countries seem to be low-slung red or darker colours - not white 4x4s as in the UK. I'm sure there's a moral to be drawn there although I'm blowed if it's immediately apparent to me.

BSintolerant · 30/03/2016 00:44

Dolly I hope she's got planning permission for that.

cozietoesie · 30/03/2016 00:45

What did someone once say, Patzy ? Like grass mixed with ejaculate ? (And something else which I can't quite remember - I may have blocked the whole thought from my mind Grin.)

Patzy85 · 30/03/2016 00:51

I'm sure if they could sell that with added aloe Cozie, they would.

Imagine the health claims on that! Grin

BSintolerant · 30/03/2016 07:10

😂😝

It could be called Forever Jizz Plus.

Imagine the advert for that? How about a bit of music from Hairy Mary Poppins:

"Just a spoon full of aloe makes the jizz and grass go down,
The jizz and grass go down .... (etc)
In the most delightful way."

And here are some testimonials, which may be hard to swallow:

"Forever Jizz Plus cured the nodules on my vocal chords. Now I can sing again, and fly off in the sky with my Forever Living umbrella and yellow plastic case." - Julie Andrews.

"The remarkable combination of grass from England's green and pleasant land, a vile tasting liquid from our American allies, and a dash of jizz gave me my life back. After being dead for a number of years I am now leading the Brexit campaign! Europe? No, no, no! Forever Jizz Plus: yes, yes, yes!" - M. Thatcher.

Motorheadmum · 30/03/2016 07:21

I'm actually gutted not to be seeing all these outrageous claims! ;). My FL was quiet over the weekend having genuine family time but she's started again last night.... On about a training day this week! So much for having the holidays off with her children.

Twunk · 30/03/2016 07:54

To be fair, if I had the chance to escape my children for a few hours during 2 weeks of holidays I'd take it too Wink

Mind you, a Forever Jizzle isn't what I would do.
