A brief history of the threads so far-

A few people were bemused at their friends' strange personality changes when they joined MLMs.
Eyespying told us they were tragicomic, thought stopping cultic racketeers.
We told him to go away, he was clearly obsessed, and can he go to his own serious thread?
We delved a bit deeper into the issues.
Eyes started creeping back. We told him he was too serious.
We became more horrified at the information being turned up and were sharing links.
Eyes told us aboutMerchants of Deception.
Timeless Vie was set up as a parody about MLMs.[[www.facebook.com/timelessvie
Facebook,]] Twitter, blog, Instagram and YouTube were all used.
People started coming forward, telling of their experiences in MLMs.
We became more horrified.
Bot Watch started on Facebook where links were put up of interest to do with MLMs.
Botwatchblog started and produced factual analysis of the discussions from MN.
MLM members (bots) waded in saying it was all ok. You can earn great money. You just have to work 19 hours a day and not worry about morals.
Bots complained about their names being used. Their lawyers complained to MNHQ so that MN now do not allow us to use bots' names or show screengrabs of their writings even if it is in the public domain.
Blogs and FB posts increased, with the increasing amount of facts and whistleblowers coming forward.
FL lawyer tried to get TV YouTube video banned.
Bots claimed we were bullying them because we were asking them questions they couldn't answer. we were called middle aged women and accused of being drug dealers.
It got a bit nasty so we ate some cheese for a bit and they went away.
Health claims from FL bots now reducing dramatically as a result of pestering from all of us.
We stopped telling Eyes he was too serious. We all started thinking in his language and realised he was right.
Eyes turned out to be very funny and entertained us all.
Sunday Times article produced exposing FL. With a little help from people here.
Lawyers still persisting in trying to ban TV's videos.

Has anyone seen Shane Lynch (from Boyzone) is doing clean 9? Hmm

CheekySmile · 31/03/2016 13:04

Geeze he's been promoting FL stuff for a while now...

cozietoesie · 31/03/2016 13:06

Probably regarded as a great 'catch'.

gottaloveascamhun · 31/03/2016 13:58

I have been very naughty and requested a Jamberry free sample. I get gel overlays done every 2 weeks so am intrigued to see how these compare... not holding my breath but was too nosey to resist. Lots of start your own business gumph was included in the envelope. Bin bin bin. Will report back on the result when I've stuck them on!

cozietoesie · 31/03/2016 14:17

Carrots??

LMGTFY · 31/03/2016 14:22

After just taking a sales call at work I was thinking how lovely it is to be on the telephone preference service. I'm also on the mail equivalent. I have spam filters on my email. I am generally free from people free from trying to sell me crap. Apart from the attack of the bots. We need an anti bot assault register where we can just say 'actually I'm registered on xx so you can't hassle me'!!

Namechangingchameleon · 31/03/2016 14:26

cozie carrots are so #NOW keep up Hun !!!

And they are the purest form of carrot and have the certificate of excellence from the carrot council!!

Twunk · 31/03/2016 14:36

LMAO to the carrots! Grin

keeptheaspidistra · 31/03/2016 14:42

"Let go of the lemons, we are not social workers"

Nice youtube success day quote from a Fl soaring manager re how to manage your downline and who to bother with. Do they tell you this when your handing over £200 for your box of toiletries business in a box?

cozietoesie · 31/03/2016 14:53

So we add lemons to the worms?

cozietoesie · 31/03/2016 14:55

I'm still reeling from the carrots. I'm sitting here and waiting for the first person to break that potato barrier !

cozietoesie · 31/03/2016 14:56

I guess that that was a fatal thing to say. Grin

keeptheaspidistra · 31/03/2016 15:03

The daft thing is I've seen so many ridiculous mlm ads that I had to spend a couple of minutes trying to figure out whether the carrots was a joke. Just looks like the usual nonsense I see on Facebook.

cozietoesie · 31/03/2016 15:05

Stick to Extract du parslai, keep. That's the good stuff. Smile

n0taBotfan · 31/03/2016 15:06

Just popping in briefly to point out that FLP full accounts up to 2014 are freely available on Companies House website: beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/02269910/filing-history

Make for some veeeeeeeeeeeeeeery interesting reading - especially for any number-crunch enthusiasts.

Also interesting, and rather sad too, is that if you just pop FL ( in full) in the search field, many dissolved FL bots companies come up.

Off to sprinkle myself with parslaii - keep up the fight #hunz!

gottaloveascamhun · 31/03/2016 16:15

So I've put my Jamberry nail stickers on. They're not too bad, quite easy to apply. I can't imagine having a party to sell them to my friends though or setting up a bizzzniss around them. Not sure what the price is as these were freeeeee

gottaloveascamhun · 31/03/2016 16:16

I should point out the purple nails I have are gel nails, I put stickers on top of 2 nails on each hand then got bored :)

GeezeLouiseBelcher · 31/03/2016 16:25

What's parslai? I keep seeing it on this thread. I know it's something sarcastic but what does it mean?

gottaloveascamhun · 31/03/2016 16:31

Geeze it's a piss-take of aloe Vera, we like to make wild claims about its properties and ingest it in revolting gloopy gel concoctions. It is completely ineffective of course Grin

smiinky · 31/03/2016 16:36

I got some samples as well cough along with a load of other bumf. I keep getting messages from the bot asking me if I've tried them yet. Very unlikely that I ever will, haven't even painted my toenails in years, I think I own one bottle of nail varnish at the moment. And they sent me a Burberry one. YUK!
I think if I tried to sell these to my mates they'd think I'd lost my mind and it beats the shit out of me how hawking what looks like itty bitty scraps of overpriced, printed Fablon is going to make anyone rich beyond their wildest dreams.

They will sell for £15 a sheet when they launch. But you can get a set of stick on nails in Primark for £1. And a full mani or pedi in a salon, on a groupon deal for £15 or less.
I personally would be more likely to do that as I have no patience to sit at home fiddling about, trying to put these things on.

I'm amazed that people think they are actually going to be able to even scrape a living from this, but they appear to. They are listening to the bullshit and lapping it up.

As part of my job I have to do comparative shopping research for every product range before I even design it. Have they actually gone out and priced this up with whats out there and what the market is actually doing? I had a look when I was comp shopping for my own design work. It's not gonna work, there is too much out there that is more stylish and much cheaper.

cozietoesie · 31/03/2016 16:37

I've been browsing through their 'Compensation Plan' and I'm still counting the caveats - they may be going for a record! Smile

Could someone advise me what they 'sell' apart from nail products?

cozietoesie · 31/03/2016 16:39

smiinky

It's not about the wampum......

Just keep repeating that to yourself. Grin

cozietoesie · 31/03/2016 16:42

Although I have to wonder whether Timeless Vie are going to set up a University du Parslai? I'm rather jealous on that score.

Those certificates..............Grin
