While you're here though, any chance of answering that question I asked you the other day? The one about the claim you made about aloe Vera gel boosting the immune system? I still haven't been able to find any clinical studies that support it.

Of course it is. You can't expect aloe botherers to know actual science stuff though, can you?

Exactly twunk in fact one of their most ridiculous claims is that something that "boosts the immune system" could help people with illnesses like arthritis, which are auto-immune issues, ie caused by the immune system attacking the body. In fact most treatments for these illnesses involve suppressing the immune system! It's what rang alarm bells for me when I was presented with what was (at the time a few years ago) made in official FL literature!

Not a problem at all, my only concern is that everytime I answer a question with any sort of maturity no one actually accepts it so my best suggestion is to do some research yourself ( my word after all is not to be trusted remember! ) into what aloe Vera contains and then have a look at FL aloe Vera (it's different to the one that contains the green bits & is processed to keep active ingredients alive! Key point!) and then when you've got your notes on that have a little Google about polysaccharides, complex sugars, galacto-mannans, enzymes, amino acids, glycoproteins, vitamins & minerals. You MAY find some sort of scientific explanation of far greater value than I could ever do justice.

The only thing 'MLM' shill Bots are immune to, is the truth. However, they are not immune to prosecution for hiding it. Laughably, the likes of Natasha Shingles, can't now claim to be ignorant of the truth, after haunting these threads.

Oh, I think the person making the claim should supply the evidence, don't you? Unless you've not got any of course. "Do your own research" isn't really good enough when you're trying to sell a product by using medical claims.

I have psoriasis which is also auto immune. I don't want a more active immune system, thanks
