Anyone know any good immigration lawyers?

My bro's gf wants to come to the UK to work
She doesn't have enough points to qualify for the Highly Skilled Migrant Visa
Any other ideas how she can get in? (apart from marriage)

Where do you live? I know a very good one in Coventry, but there are loads in London (or at least there used to be before life was made nearly impossible for them by the govt! - constant changes in the law plus serious public funding cuts plus massive increase in bureaucracy...)

We're in London

There are a huge number of practitioners out there who are, to be blunt, crap. It's a really complex area of law - you need to keep up to date on a daily basis almost. But these are all OK - and Bindmans are excellent.

Whoever you get, make sure they're members of ILPA - it isn't a guarantee of competence, but if they're not members, then chances are they're not up to much.

Thanks CorrieDale
