Only a foolish 'MLM' Bot would seek to confuse my general use of the word 'holocaust' (with a small 'h') with the very specific term, 'the Holocaust' (with a capital 'H'). That's why I always very carefully qualify my use of this word by putting 'with a small 'h' ' in brackets after it.

And can I ask what the collective opinion of MLM in Africa happens to be here?..

I would welcome views on the website Pinktruth. Especially from those who have gone/are considering going into MLMs to 'obtain some product discount/ earn just a little extra'. Some very interesting posts there.

It is quite an important question and one which very few people have asked, let alone tried to answer:

Given the staggering number of individuals, families and communities it has infected around the globe, and the ammount of financial, social and psychological damage it has caused, what words would be appropriate to describe the overall, blame-the-victim 'MLM' cult phenomenon?

Why you say that Patzy? - Do you have some list of people exploited over there? Or a video to post showing how MLM has decimated life out there? - You offer an independent review from a journalist that you expect the world to believe is parity - in a country that was ravaged and pillaged by us the English - and then left to a despot who committed genocide on his own people. If we are going to go through African countries - how many other African countries have been invaded by foreign countries - for minerals, oil and wealth seized in the name of their respective kingdoms - way before MLM was even a dream - the collective impact on the continent is now there for all to see.... please don't let's get all high, mighty and moralistic about a continent that we as a nation have chosen to forget and ignore because they became too much effort for us to control. (BTW my thesis at Uni was along the same vein)

I'm a little behind today, but I watched that video before it was "privatised". It was uploaded in August last year. For those who haven't seen it, the presenter was amazingly successful at retail sales. However, she was advised "you can put people off by doing too much retail!" In other words, the money is in the recruiting, and not in the "wampum", as Eyes would say.

Why has the woman (a successful businesswoman) now deleted all references to her Forever career? I've Googled her, but links come up as no longer existing. And why did she ask someone else to defend her on this thread rather than posting herself? Is it because she feels she doesn't want to be associated with Forever? If so, why would that be?

Natasha, maybe you might want to think about that, and why you were the fall guy. Maybe she would like to be a guest on this thread, too, so we could ask her?

I did have a tiny moment of inner smugness when my name was mentioned in the same sentence as many "big bots" ..... Silent moment of utter disbelief! Infact I'd go so far as to say that felt better than any moment on stage being clapped!

But mega bucks.... No! As I've said before I'm just a single mum at the bottom of a long standing MLM earning good money. No more than that!

With an irony close to exquisite, Natasha Shingles is a classic denier of the 'MLM' financial, social and psychological holocaust (with a small 'h'). I personally find her comments on these threads to be highly offensive and flipant.
