Ambler I get it. It is a genuine 6 figure I promise. I am not going to disagree that the phrase is spurious. Eye spying please don't be jealous I earnt that money in a mere 60 hours a week.
For the record I don't necessarily disagree with a lot of your points. But I just don't see the need to victimise people who are involved. They are just trying to make a living and you think that's immoral- I get it, but are you exposing and victimising tobacco manufacturers, pimps and whores, people who peddle pornography in the same way?

Eyespying · 14/03/2016 19:24

'I just don't like to see people being victimised for life choices by people who believe they take a moral High ground.'

This is a perfect inversion of reality, in defence of cultic racketeers who pretend moral and intellectual authority whilst pursuing hidden criminal objectives (mainly fraudulent).

Melaw21 · 14/03/2016 19:26

Right then, lets call it a day everyone, who cares about all the poor folk being diddled out of money joining a scheme that they are 99% likely to fail at (through no fault of their own), and all the wrecked families and the bullying that goes on within the mlms themselves. (Please insert plethora of other reasons here) Fay says that we are all bullies and bored middle aged women. Time to all go home.

fay81 · 14/03/2016 19:28

Acatcalledjohn you got that right. If mlms are making false claims (which I haven't defended) they are on thin ice. My problem
Isn't with the highlighting of the pitfalls of the industry it's the personal attacks on people involved I can't condone.

Melaw21 · 14/03/2016 19:29

What personal attacks, please be specific? Have you any links?

' They are just trying to make a living and you think that's immoral- I get it, but are you exposing and victimising tobacco manufacturers, pimps and whores, people who peddle pornography in the same way?'

Curiously, cigarette manufacturers, pimps and pornographers all would claim to be just trying to be making a living, but all these enterprises (which have been linked to racketeering) clearly aren't what these threads have been all about.

throwingpebbles · 14/03/2016 19:30

But she's a squillionaire melaw that means she automatically knows better than us Hmm

The real bullying and victimisation is happening within forever. People are coming forward every day with similar stories of bullying by uplines, of family members getting into vast debt, of friends who undergo complete personality changes ...

FleeBee · 14/03/2016 19:31

Fay that argument could go on forever (no pun intended) so anyone who is concerned about one industry also simultaneously campaign about every other immoral issue in the entire world? When would we get a day off to spend with our families. That is the whole gist of MLM is that correct?
Please go ahead & campaign on the issues you highlighted if you feel that they need investigation to prevent people being misled/scammed/defrauded. That is what people do if they see injustice isn't it Hun????

Patzy85 · 14/03/2016 19:31

Faye - not only am I too young for that demographic and have no idea why you believe we are all middle aged of boots behind a screen, I know I haven't said anything that could be deemed as harassment. So sorry to burst your bubble here but while there may have been the very rare post (normally from bots, there has been some disgusting accusations and name calling!) that was not appropriate, 99% of the posts you will find here are anything but bullying.

Also if you are a genuine business woman and since we are generalising, you would absolutely loathe the MLM industry.

fay81 · 14/03/2016 19:31

Melaw you miss my point. I don't necessarily think your crusade is wrong but the personal attacks are

Melaw21 · 14/03/2016 19:32

Eyes naughty you and us for not taking on every single world injustice! Peace in the middle east anyone? Global warming? World hunger? All very serious issues granted... but we are not discussing those on THIS thread.

OP posts:
throwingpebbles · 14/03/2016 19:33

The only real awful attacks I saw were from people who we quickly figured out where probably "puppets" designed to discredit the thread, or ex-friends of bots with a grudge. Those nasty posts got reported by us and deleted fast. Interesting if you have been following all along that you only bothered to step out and comment now Hmm

lazycoo · 14/03/2016 19:34

Fay you've read the threads and you've called us bullies on the back of that. That's not very nice of you, in fact your own behaviour could be seen as bullying. Threatening us with the police and deriding us. I should report your threads and have them deleted as breaching MNHQ guidance. You've yet to substantiate your claims. You seem misled as to who and what the problem is here.

Melaw21 · 14/03/2016 19:34

fay specifics please?

OP posts:
acatcalledjohn · 14/03/2016 19:35

The actual bullying doesn't happen here. Publicly exposing bad behaviour originally shared on a public platform by people referring to themselves as public persons does not equate to bullying.

They don't like being exposed so cry about 'being bullied'. The hypocrisy is staggering, and no sensible court would take this as bullying. They'd instead investigate how the false health claims have fraudulently convinced people to sign up to a system doomed to fail.

Twunk · 14/03/2016 19:36

Oh yes it's that old chestnut - actually there are plenty of people exposing those poor tobacco manufacturers, pimps and pornographers.

One can be concerned about more than one issue at the same time.

And everyone's assumption that we must be unsuccessful and jealous is really beginning to get on my tits TBH. None of us mention how 'successful' or otherwise we are because it's not the point.

acatcalledjohn · 14/03/2016 19:37
JoolsSchmools · 14/03/2016 19:37

Middle age??? How very dare you.

Eyespying · 14/03/2016 19:40

acatcalledjohn was crackers a freudian slip?

Twunk · 14/03/2016 19:40

I actually don't know what middle aged means. I've always figured (so far) that it's at least a few years older than me. Grin

acatcalledjohn · 14/03/2016 19:41

Meh, I'm below that demographic, but I've always been very mature for my age. Must be what explains my cheese preferences.

acatcalledjohn · 14/03/2016 19:41

Eye, don't give away the game now...

Eyespying · 14/03/2016 19:43

To recap: We've been invited by someone claiming to be a multi-millionaire with absolutely no interest in 'MLM' racketeering, to ignore decades of financial, and psychological, abuse which has victimised countless millions of vulnerable people, and instead turn ourselves in to the police as a gang of vicious cyber bullies.

lazycoo · 14/03/2016 19:43

35-45 twunk, pay attention now...

fay81 · 14/03/2016 19:44

I piped up on here as an opposing view point not from the mlm industry to add a third dimension. A few of the comments have been derogatory to me. The very nicknames you give to people in mlm is derogatory bot is a dehumanising term in itself and the nicknames given are derogatory. That in itself is bullying.

Someone earlier in the thread asked me to share my business name- only a fool would do that. To have someone dig me out and make further comments. I have been ridiculed for mentioning the successful sale of a business. Only mentioned to highlight that mlm is not of interest to me.
