ok, so so far the consensus seems to be a combo of both donating and some tv branded cheapo stuff.

cozietoesie · 14/03/2016 18:13

Well I think you could do with a 'donate facility of some sort.

FleeBee · 14/03/2016 18:14

Fabulous work Rodney applauds

Motorheadmum · 14/03/2016 18:19

Could you do a PayPal for tv?

throwingpebbles · 14/03/2016 18:20

monementarily that is a great idea, not just for GP surgeries but also outpatient clinics etc and for local support groups for the various targetted illnesses as well.

Like the idea of fundraising /donating to help cover the costs

cozietoesie · 14/03/2016 18:21

PS - the only thing you might need to consider are the implications of setting up a trading organisation or charity with a trading arm. I'm guessing there are enough accountants/auditors/bookkeepers on these threads to do you proud but I wouldn't want anyone here to be in any sort of difficulty.

Just saying that in case of 'more than usual' scrutiny. Whatever TV does needs to be kept real simple in my view so if you decide it's not worth the candle, I'm sure everyone here would understand perfectly.

ambler21 · 14/03/2016 18:31

I guess as long as the products are sourced from third party companies it's all good. And donations are simply to promote our parody. Cos we think laughter is a good medicine (we can probably get plenty of scientific references for that unlike some) but ye I bow to anhone with actual knowledge on the subject.

Eyespying · 14/03/2016 18:31

twunk - I feel I should be thanking you for your insightful analysis of me. My Bond Girls say 'bonsoir.' I've been chased by Bond girls for more years than I care to remember, and I'm now beginning to get a bit exhausted myself. I'm trying to cut down these days, but spring is in the air.

Twunk · 14/03/2016 18:41

It's pleasure Eyes - maybe some extrait du parslaii will help with that exhaustion? Guaranteed to put the lead in your pencil note it really does contain dangerous quantities of lead, we are evil after all

Just putting this funny blog up again.

Twunk - Tu es très gentil, mais j'ai suffisamment plomb dans ma crayon, merci.

fay81 · 14/03/2016 18:54

Hi

Before I begin I am not a "bot" or involved in mlm in anyway

I have been following these threads with interest.

You have recently been accused of bullying a bot.

As far as I can see you are a bunch of bullies on a witch hunt.

Throughout these threads you attack bots personally, use derogatory nicknames, publish personal data all under the guise of a campaign to expose the mlm industry.

Whether the mlm industry is right or wrong what gives you keyboard warriors the right to victimise people. This all smacks of bored people with nothing better to do.

I have been a victim of cyber bullying and it destroyed my life for 6 months plus- I couldnt eat, couldn't sleep, was terrified of what my attacker would do next.

From what I have witnessed you all
Have too much time on your hands and are full of false self importance. A bunch of middle aged women isnt going to bring down a multi national industry with a few mugs and stickers.

I hope that in time mums net have yo cooperate with the police and release your ip addresses and you get issued with harrasment notices so this nonsense stops and you and the bots can get on with the lives you have respectively chosen.

Twunk · 14/03/2016 18:54

Geen probleem Ogen, zolang de meisjes zijn tevreden

Twunk · 14/03/2016 18:56

Welcome to Mumsnet, fay81

fay81 · 14/03/2016 18:58

Thanks twunk

lazycoo · 14/03/2016 19:00

Hello and welcome! What's your favourite cheese fay81?

Eyespying · 14/03/2016 19:01

Do I smell bananas?

I think it might be time to break out the Gorgonzola.

fay81 · 14/03/2016 19:02

Stilton thanks for asking lazycoo

fay81 · 14/03/2016 19:02

Bananas? I am confused?

lazycoo · 14/03/2016 19:04

Too coherent for banana-time

Melaw21 · 14/03/2016 19:04

Oh lovely! Time for cheddar! I have been waiting all day! Got a nice fruit cider on the go and a sourdough on the side! Mmm! Anyone want to share?

Too coherent for bananas, but carefully scripted nonetheless lazycoo.

lazycoo · 14/03/2016 19:07

As a victim of cyber bullying you will have a heightened sense of this. Your fragility makes you ideal MLM fodder. I'm sorry you've been caught up in a MLM, and I'm sorry if you have believed what the shill-bots say we are doing (believe me we are not bullying, read the threads please). We are here for you if you are having doubts. The bullies are the ones peddling the lie that their MLM will give you an income and a sense of belonging. Neither are truly on offer fay.

Twunk · 14/03/2016 19:07

Did someone say Fruit cider and cheddar? Lekker! Shove up Melaw and share.

powertotheparslaii · 14/03/2016 19:07

Mel don't tease me with your cider Sad

Welcome day!

fay81 · 14/03/2016 19:08

Nope I have no idea what the cheese and banana references are. Someone comes on to the thread and posts an opposing point of view and there's nothing sensible to be said in response? What a debating team you make?
