the MLMs require their bots to post social media messages with incorrect information as part of their tactic to pull people in. we are right to pull out and highlight that incorrect information. we remove people's names.

dont want it to be highlighted? simples. don't lie.

I don't know why anyone would support people openly lying like this in social media posts to drum up business.

fay81 · 14/03/2016 21:26

Melaw.

I will for the record reiterate

I am not an mlmer and have no intention of joining and mlm. I know several mlmers.

I have and still do buy products- this is not reciprocal.

I don't object to all of the allegations against mlms

My issue is with the personal nature of the descriptions and Conversation re mlmers

My issue is with the derogatory description of people involved with mlm as Bots

I put my opinion on to add a third dimension

Some of the comments
Made to me have been kind, considerate and engaged me in sensible debate

Some have been very rude and derogatory all because I have a different opinion.

I wish you well with your expose of mlm but don't feel this is the way to it...

Patzy85 · 14/03/2016 21:26

Fay81 - it is a public forum and you came waving your arms about your millions, that is most likely the reason you were found.

However, there's no bullying taking place at all. Honestly if you read the threads you will see that where maybe in the past there have been some remarks made, it was never what most people would class as bullying. You will also find that you will not be outted by anyone here.

Stay and contribute, if you feel there is a better way of tackling the issue please do help steer is in the right direction.

We aren't the bad guys. Promise. Smile

FLhahaha · 14/03/2016 21:26

Anyway, back to business. At the tale end of the last thread I was agreeing that we should be keeping a close eye on airiix (with the added benefit perhaps that we can go for any marketing misdemeanours straight away and at the company rather than individual level)

My aim is to drum it home that if you have a proper business, you play by the proper rules (I.e. the law).

Any examples of company policies or example adds yet?

lastuseraccount123 · 14/03/2016 21:27

and dang it, what we are doing is working! Sunday times, anyone?

cozie 1,030 likes or so now.

DollyTwat · 14/03/2016 21:27

Fay nobody posted anyone's address
The bot posted the picture of her rented house on her public page
It's a rented house that's being advertised nationally

Hey fay. You're not a bot, so you may actually respond to my logical statements (for some reason bots tend to ignore my arguments!).

Hopefully you've absorbed what everyone else has said on here. You'll find that if you distil it all down it's the ideal behind the bots that's the issue here. The problem is the bots are all deeply entrenched within this ideal and for better or worse, believe it.

There are intelligent bots, who can use their position to manipulate those around them, this helps with recruiting new people into their downline, encourage those to sell, generate income for themselves and the company as a whole. There are unintelligent bots who rely on their "good nature, wit and charm" (and potentially the lack of intelligence of people around them) in order to achieve the same sort of thing.

You've said you have money, therefore you are not vulnerable to MLMs. I suspect your friends have tried to prospect you in the past and this is the line you've pulled. The issue is there are those who don't have your money, that are told they could get a 6 figure salary if they tried hard enough. You've already already said it's not right for 99% of people, the problem is these are the exact 99% that are targeted, usually the 99% who can't afford to be targeted - that's where the issue lies.

I admire you for standing up for your friends, it's what anyone would do, however it's harder to condone the practices that they undertake. Indeed someone I know is involved in an MLM, I've warned them about the potential downfalls, they've thanked me but they are carrying on (as someone with alot of friends and who already has a reasonable amount of money they are probably more likely to get somewhere). The problem would come if I saw them targeting people for recruitment that I didn't think was appropriate. You might ask what right have I got to get involved? Why can't these people make their own decisions? The issue is people can be, and are targeted when in a more vulnerable situation, with promises of riches, more time with their young ones, more friends around them, however they're just not aware of the cons/downfalls of MLMs, which as you admit will affect 99% of those signing up. That is where we come in, we have to be negative, we have to highlight the cons to balance out what the bots are saying.

I suspect very few bots will recruit with the message "by the way you're 99% likely not to make a 6 figure salary, or even a half decent 5 figure salary" - that would be business suicide, even though it is the truth (there are enough stats out there to back up my statements). So we have to get that message out there, however we can, to combat what the bots are saying (which unfortunately contains alot of lies, mistruths and some illegal claims).

So whilst you can come on here, defending your friend, she is one of hundreds, thousands that are out there, many of whom haven't come onto the radar properly, at the moment those who are will be highlighted and called out appropriately.

Defend your friend if you want, but may I suggest try on her page or your page. I think coming on here and trying it probably isn't the best approach.

Melaw21 · 14/03/2016 21:29

Thanks for those points fay, as someone who has purchased the products, run a successful traditional business and does admit that our cause is somewhat valid, do you have any suggestions for alternative approaches? We always always welcome new input on how to tackle this widespread issue 😊

interesting to me that no one likes what we're doing but it's working. you know what? to make change you can't be nice. Nice hasn't worked. Factual hasn't worked. Has it?

We'll stick to what works. and the fact is, people sucked in are coming to us so they clearly DON"T feel put down by the use of the term "bot". that whole argument is just a red-herring because it's the only thing the MLM supporters can attack us on. But it's clearly not stopping people supporting us.

We make jokes. that's what we do. It's working.

fay81 · 14/03/2016 21:30

Patzy to reiterate for a final time
I didn't come
On waving arms about millions. Someone suggested I was vulnerable
To be recruited.
I used it to make the pint that I could not be recruited as I don't need the money!

I wasn't Waving it around. Only a handful
Of people
Actually have a clue how
Much money is the bank.

I do think there is a better way. Leave it with me and I will come up with some ideas.
I really would advise against mugs stickers etc...

DollyTwat · 14/03/2016 21:32

I really want to understand the Arsliiiix pay structure. Eyes what do you make of it?

I think they're all going to be ripped off

lastuseraccount123 · 14/03/2016 21:34

I agree eyes

Wonderfulworcestershirelady · 14/03/2016 21:35

The problem with social networking on the internet is that is such a new medium people are so naive when posting. They do not stop to think about how they are projecting themselves.
In my profession we are given very strict guidelines and our governing body have been quick to educate at all levels.
At least FL are starting to realise how vulnerable their distributors are and have established more robust guidelines if only to protect themselves. However as has been previously said it is almost impossible to 'sell' the gloop under the new guidelines.
Fay81 I have no idea who you are. And these poor women need a champion but I would keep quiet about the millions because the poor dears are fixated on the $$$$. Perhaps you can educate them in doing it the hard way!

powertotheparslaii · 14/03/2016 21:39

Fay we are actually about to release bum bags, socks and sandals if they will be better?

Unfortunately I don't think money makes anyone immune. A lady I know has recently joined a MLM. She's a recently widowed mother of two young boys. Her husband left her in a very fortunate financial position but she wishes to be able to pass as much on as possible to her children... Whilst having a career that enables her to be around them. (She's also of a certain religion that is popular with MLM cult leaders). She has more money than you. She's been sucked in.

I would be interested to hear of your cyber bullying experiences though, and what we have been doing here that has been perceived as bullying, but also suggestions with how we can continue with our cause without coming across as bullies. When everything is on an open forum, with many many contributors, it is very difficult to ensure every single post is entirely nicey nicey. It's a real shame that some perceived bullying is detracting from what we are working hard to achieve

fay81 · 14/03/2016 21:39

I didn't come to defend my friend.
I came to defend all those i
Don't know that you have targeted. It's one thing to have a problem with an industry bit one shouldn't target an individual
Working in that industry,
Some of the people have been very rude to me.
Others welcoming of my exchange and further ideas.
I don't think that mlms
Should target vulnerable people with little money and no business savvy. I don't think they should be able to use job seekers (tax payers money) to start up. So I do agree with a lot of what you say. Just not the personal nature of it. Give me Time
To think And I will Come Up with Ideas for a better tactic

Mouse Mats and mugs are a definite waste ofMoney Anyone in business in 2016 would tell you that. Fb ads- great idea.

Patzy85 · 14/03/2016 21:40

Fay81 - I'm only going by this comment:

'I worked hard for my 3.5 million so I will flaunt it when necessary.'

But truthfully, we really aren't a bunch of old hags bitterly hating on the (allegedly) successful people at the top of this scheme. And you're not unwelcome.

It's all smoke and mirrors, credit cards and debt. The industry is rife with people thinking that they're utilising attraction marketing to eventually bring them their fortunes when in reality they're commuting financial suicide, all while asking people to hold their hands and jump with them.

Even if you did 'make it big' in MLM, it just isn't sustainable. It can't last. On top of the REAL bullying and intimidation that is happening within the downlines of the system - particularly those bots that have been mentioned previously. It's a nasty, ruthless business.

throwingpebbles · 14/03/2016 21:43

Put me down for a bum bag please Grin

lazycoo · 14/03/2016 21:44

But you'd think with her being sub-middle age (so: young, a millennial, born in 1981) she would be a bit more internet-savvy. Certainly those who have operated at a sufficiently high level to make millions in their early thirties tend to be a bit less naive when boasting about their wealth. Maybe she inherited/ was given her wealth by her father. Anyway she likes Stilton and shampoo sold to her by people desperate to curry favour with her. Peasants in shops with no vested interest won't do when you can sprinkle a bit of your fabulous wealth on a dear friend working for a pittance in pursuit of a lie. So ethical, darling.

Melaw21 · 14/03/2016 21:44

But I really wanted a 'mugs mug' fay boooooo! 😩😩 lol 😉😉😂 soo dissapointed now... So are bumbags and logobugs a no go too then? 😂

OP posts:
Eyespying · 14/03/2016 21:44

DollyTwat You can't understand the 'easy and simple to understand Ariix compensation plan,' because ultimately, it's increasingly-complex, jargon-laced, mathematical BS that cannot be understood by anyone.

You might as well start at ten thousand and count backwards as listen to this thought-stopping, cultic hocus-pocus, because it has exactly the same effect.

Twunk · 14/03/2016 21:44

I want a mug. Agreed the mouse mat is pointless.

Melaw21 · 14/03/2016 21:46

Yeah.... No one needs a mouse mat these days, but bum bags???... Wow! I cant wait to sport that sucker on my next trip to torquay! Woop! 😂😂

OP posts:
DayToDayGlobalShit · 14/03/2016 21:47

Fay - May I so boldly ask, what exactly are your 'friends' saying about this thread to you. We would be interested in the discussions from the Bots.

DollyTwat · 14/03/2016 21:52

Eyes I kinda know that! I followed it and the unique thing seems to be the downlink you don't earn from. This is your most active line. So I'm thinking that every month Arseliiiiix will say oh you can't earn off that one and choose the one that's bringing in money. Do I have to watch it again!
