Hey fay. You're not a bot, so you may actually respond to my logical statements (for some reason bots tend to ignore my arguments!).
Hopefully you've absorbed what everyone else has said on here. You'll find that if you distil it all down it's the ideal behind the bots that's the issue here. The problem is the bots are all deeply entrenched within this ideal and for better or worse, believe it.
There are intelligent bots, who can use their position to manipulate those around them, this helps with recruiting new people into their downline, encourage those to sell, generate income for themselves and the company as a whole. There are unintelligent bots who rely on their "good nature, wit and charm" (and potentially the lack of intelligence of people around them) in order to achieve the same sort of thing.
You've said you have money, therefore you are not vulnerable to MLMs. I suspect your friends have tried to prospect you in the past and this is the line you've pulled. The issue is there are those who don't have your money, that are told they could get a 6 figure salary if they tried hard enough. You've already already said it's not right for 99% of people, the problem is these are the exact 99% that are targeted, usually the 99% who can't afford to be targeted - that's where the issue lies.
I admire you for standing up for your friends, it's what anyone would do, however it's harder to condone the practices that they undertake. Indeed someone I know is involved in an MLM, I've warned them about the potential downfalls, they've thanked me but they are carrying on (as someone with alot of friends and who already has a reasonable amount of money they are probably more likely to get somewhere). The problem would come if I saw them targeting people for recruitment that I didn't think was appropriate. You might ask what right have I got to get involved? Why can't these people make their own decisions? The issue is people can be, and are targeted when in a more vulnerable situation, with promises of riches, more time with their young ones, more friends around them, however they're just not aware of the cons/downfalls of MLMs, which as you admit will affect 99% of those signing up. That is where we come in, we have to be negative, we have to highlight the cons to balance out what the bots are saying.
I suspect very few bots will recruit with the message "by the way you're 99% likely not to make a 6 figure salary, or even a half decent 5 figure salary" - that would be business suicide, even though it is the truth (there are enough stats out there to back up my statements). So we have to get that message out there, however we can, to combat what the bots are saying (which unfortunately contains alot of lies, mistruths and some illegal claims).
So whilst you can come on here, defending your friend, she is one of hundreds, thousands that are out there, many of whom haven't come onto the radar properly, at the moment those who are will be highlighted and called out appropriately.
Defend your friend if you want, but may I suggest try on her page or your page. I think coming on here and trying it probably isn't the best approach.
