One of my cousins is part of the Younique cult, she is working with her 'team' to try and get other people signed up by using stickers and t-shirts.

I have another cousin who is selling random junk (bedsheets, birdhouses, chopping boards) but I don't know which company she is using. We don't really talk but she sent me a long private message asking if I wanted to earn good money by staying at home and using facebook.

Eyespying · 05/03/2016 11:46

This mission-statement could almost have come out of 'Nineteen Eighty-Four.' It's interesting to note that no claim has ever been made that its alleged remit is what the SFO has actually been pursuing.

'The Serious Fraud Office’s (SFO’s) remit is to coordinate activity across the whole economy, both private and public sectors, to make the UK a hostile environment for fraudsters.'

SFO is a non-ministerial department.

cozietoesie · 05/03/2016 11:52

Uh Huh. You don't really talk but she suddenly sends you a long private message about staying at home and earning?

You're in her sights of course.

Toobusytowee · 05/03/2016 11:58

Good idea about FOI requests to GOSH. I will do that. I had training in those as part of my job. They are only for government institutions so the hospital will come under that. FL wouldn't. Does anyone know what the rules are for America?

CaptainMarvelDanvers · 05/03/2016 12:01

I think it's because I used to be an agoraphobic and spent the majority of my time on the computer. She probably thought this scheme would be perfect for me but since we don't really talk and I don't post my life on facebook she doesn't know I've sorted my life out and I have an actual job.

These schemes seem to prey on vulnerable people.

NorbertDentressangle · 05/03/2016 12:02

My FLbot has posted about the Johannesburg holiday.

On first read you could easily be mistaken for thinking that she's going.

When you read it with a cynics eye it's obvious that what she's actually saying is that she and her team have got a cat in hells chance a chance of working towards it.

In other words it's the carrot that will encourage people to sign up to her team and be brainwashed into working their butts off for peanuts, not mind losing all their friends and yet only have as much chance of winning a place on the holiday as they do of winning the national lottery.

Personally I'd rather buy a £2 lottery ticket and keep hold of my sanity and dignity.

Eyespying · 05/03/2016 12:15

It's interesting to note that the 'FLP' propaganda promoting the forthcoming trip to Joburg, very subtly associates the words 'gold mining,' as well as the names of Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu, with the racket.

Eyespying · 05/03/2016 12:19

What a surprise, the name and image of Nelson Mandela also appears in this short 'FLP' propaganda video.

norbert

I know, the desperation is unbelievable! When I did FL the top bots put up an incentive for anyone who made manager by Christmas-they would pay for them to go to Johannesburg (no mention of how many days!). One of the people crossline to me put up on FB that she was going to Johannesburg and that she could take her team with her-so anyone who wanted to join her team could go too. I knew for a fact she hadn't made manager-and still hasn't! Total lies! Talk about fake it till you (don't) make it!

cozietoesie · 05/03/2016 12:30

That will likely be the first of many messages, Captain - followed/ interspersed by friend requests and - very shortly - an 'It's been so long since I saw you! Why don't we meet up for coffee, Hun.? (I could come over to yours if it would be easier.)'

MrGrumpy01 · 05/03/2016 12:40

There's little point buying a lottery ticket, due to The Laws of Attraction all lottery wins are mine.Grin

Gimlet1984 · 05/03/2016 12:42

Looks like Ariix has managed to rattle Forever quite badly. Even top bot NH has commented on them. She has made a video looking rather bedraggled and flustered accusing them of poaching their downlines and they should ignore the opportunity company because it's just a flash in the fan and not stable like uncle rexys aloe dynasty.

Ten gets you one that she'll be the next to go then Wink

flamebar · 05/03/2016 12:50

Cozie - are you implying my Bots are not special? They waited weeks to see if they had won the chance to pay to go.
Not just anyone gets invited to pay.
I mean - if you've signed up and paid for your starter pack to be a Glambassador then it may be a foregone conclusion.
Still.... "eeek"

cozietoesie · 05/03/2016 12:53

I'm sorry for seeming to imply that of course. Grin

From what Cubic has said, though.............Wink

NorbertDentressangle · 05/03/2016 12:54

MrGrumpy - Sad clearly I didn't want that lottery win enough .....

flamebar · 05/03/2016 12:55

They all had a face mask pamper night last night to prepare for meeting the Lord.
Also - three of them have HIRED costumes to attend and the other one has made one, as they are encouraged to participate in the theme

Oh I should imagine there will be some fairly large cheques suddenly coming out of the woodwork all right.

cozietoesie · 05/03/2016 13:03

Selfies with the cardboard cutout?

You're having us on. Even my imagination is stretched by that one. Grin

flamebar · 05/03/2016 13:05

They are adamant that this is not an MLM Confused

That's very a revealing piece of evidence Gimlet1984.

NH must now see her entire world falling apart. She's imploring her doubting flock to stick with their infallible shepherds, and not to be tempted by any fallible pretenders who only want to fleece them.

Again, it's difficult not to use the 'T' word to describe NH's performance.
