Daytoday - I always think this, it's always photos of them in Starbucks surrounded by babies and laptops not even looking at each other. It's rather depressing! Poor babies, but then I suppose all those mamas will be millionaires by October so it's totally worth it. Wink

DayToDayShit · 03/03/2016 21:29

lol, yeah I just checked back at it is the barnbot on valentines day. Have a look. Certainly no family time going on by the looks of it

ambler21 · 03/03/2016 21:30

Writer..........(Can spell)

Chef ............(Knows the juices should run clear)

Adventurer....(Will go on free holidays, with a bit of notice, if Mom says it's ok)

throwingpebbles · 03/03/2016 21:30

So, so far the only proven qualities of FL aloe gloop are:

  • causes delusions;
  • drastically damages linguistic abilities; and
  • cannot cure, indeed may even exacerbate, Narcissitic Personality Disorder

And on top of all that it also tastes disgusting....

throwingpebbles - Vodka does all that + it tastes good and I think it might even be cheaper per litre.

Now I have taken some wine I can completely utterly say I do love you huns .

I am beginning to bore people IRL about the whole MLM thing too. The Netherlands is certainly not immune from the phenomenon - I know of an FL Bot (she is lovely, genuinely so, and I am hoping she forgets this soon) and a fairly uber Herbal life Bot. In the uk I know 1 ex FL bot (who never got into it), 2 youniques and a jamberry.

It's like a disease

Who is barnbot? Can someone PM the name?

DayToDayShit · 03/03/2016 21:49

OMFG MummaLeeech in the wedding pic. How very common to be at your own offsprings wedding and you still need to be networking.

Hellllp!!! My FL bot was asking how I was & has offered to send me some products to 'help' my illness... I've tried polite refusal, but I'm now just cowering away from f/b pretending I'm not online...

Desperately trying to think of why I don't want it can't have it? Confused

sminkypink · 03/03/2016 22:06

totally changing the subject, here but it was a Polish mlm (and someone I know getting caught up in it) that made me start my own 'journey' of discovery into whatthefuck.
This video, guys....

I've just looked up ORAC values on Wikipedia and of course, it's bullshit, you canot compare what happens in a lab in a petridish to what happens in your stomach. I did not want her coloured powders, so I unfriended her. Now I know more, I know that the whole way she approached me was scripted. I have an existing health condition and no amount of coloured powders (at £30 a jar) is gonna improve it.
Patzy85 · 03/03/2016 22:09

Grey - There should be a helpline for this exact situation! Grin

Twunk · 03/03/2016 22:09

ive just looked up JL. And wow. Really. Just wow.

throwingpebbles · 03/03/2016 22:10

eyes 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 good point. Considerably cheaper I suspect! And, if you believe my Russian sister in law it is the cure for pretty much every ailment going ...

Twunk · 03/03/2016 22:10

Grey I think just don't answer.

Or change the subject.

Or say "no thanks!" (The exclamation mark can be omitted)

Or....change your name, delete your Facebook, change your number and move.

sminkypink · 03/03/2016 22:11

greyponcho
Now I know how these things work, I'd say, 'please don't talk to me about this or ask me to try it, otherwise we can't be friends.'
or 'I don't want to discuss your business, so please don't ask me.'
I'm so peed off with being approached, now, I think the next time I get asked it will be, 'please don't use your network marketing scripts on me.'

grey ... Just send her a link to bot watch

sminkypink · 03/03/2016 22:12

thing is, if you say 'no' they see that as a 'not now' and she'll put a note in her planner to ask you in a months time. Make it very clear that it's off limits, or as Twunk says, don't answer.
I've used the don't answer tactic before. They don't have a script for being ghosted.

I'd really like to go with 'No, because your products are shite'

but I wouldn't, so I would delete fb, change my name and flee to Mexico
