You need to factor in the cost of the strawberries as well, throwing. Out of season, they're not cheap.

lazycoo · 01/03/2016 22:19

It was Arbonne that nearly got me. Disgusting bunch. Iirc the buyin was £1500 for six bags of toiletries Shock. Luckily they were too greedy and I didn't go for it.

My friend was telling me she has two Arbots on her street. One had a party. It sounded rubbish, the poor girl was really mean with her samples and the wine (had to explain to friend that the Arbot was paying for this herself - friend was shocked it wasn't on expenses from this lovely company Confused). The party naturally was focused on recruitment. Perfect Arbonne target market as they're all ladies of leisure. So, like the measles, Arbonne might break again round our way. I doubt it though, I've explained to my friend the issue so hopefully she doesn't set up as a grinning scary Arbot.

Cita, FL could terminate your contract and it would be all over. A supplier couldn't do that to a business, they should be seperate from each other. You are a self employed salesperson on commission only with a zero hours contract. You are not even an employee because you have no employment rights.

No because we're not supposed to be saying people's names on here. Honestly though it doesn't even seem to be being lead. It's a lot of people but I think all roughly independent of each other.

throwingpebbles · 01/03/2016 22:40

FL want you and others to believe you are "business owners" so that they can deny all responsibility for the deceitful claims that in reality are the only way their products would ever sell/ people would ever be recruited

Quite clearly, as suggested upthread, in reality you are about as "independent" as a feudal serf

Patzy85 · 01/03/2016 22:42

Cita - we aren't allowed to use names now (although, if you're a 'public figure' in an exploitative business this is what you should really expect) but it looks like EC is prepping to move.

CS also is apparently looking to move to Ariix, as is AL.

Also top Irish bots have jumped ship taking some of their downlines with them.

Patzy85 · 01/03/2016 22:45

It would be a natural progression I suppose, especially when you have experience and followers who believe in you.

A new unsaturated market, right in a the top, new products to sell (it must get dull trying to flog the same stuff over and over) and Ariix is aiming to be incredibly elite - no cheap, tacky inspirational quotes and chavbots! This is just for the top players.

throwingpebbles · 01/03/2016 22:46

EC's new website doesn't even mention the FL products once ...Wink

lastuseraccount123 · 01/03/2016 22:46

It's clearly time for TV to do a post on Ariix, just like we did on Jamberry. If anyone has any zingers, send 'em our way

bossbabebot · 01/03/2016 22:55

Er folks we need to tighten up Timeless Vie trademark - this was my teacup today.....

cita - first point, it's interesting to see that the FLP serum costs nearly 75% more in the UK compared to the US. Secondly, the FLP serum has no real active ingredients compares to the Boots product so you can't really compare like with like. The FLP serum is more akin to just a moisturiser (and extremely expensive one too). It's also interesting to note that the Boots product has undergone clinical trials, something FLP products can't really call on.

cozietoesie · 01/03/2016 23:02

Interesting points, Cubic.

cozietoesie · 01/03/2016 23:05

Though it does rather call into question the issue of recruitment in the 'less developed markets' eg in Africa and Asia.

Twunk · 01/03/2016 23:10

Just been checking out the Ariix website. The double ii thing really gets on my tits but I note that really it's all same shit, different day.

You have a very good point cubic

lastuseraccount123 · 01/03/2016 23:12

but...but...Ariix has an amazeballs payment plan that is patented and like no other fleecing plan in the history of fleecing people payment plans!!

cozietoesie · 01/03/2016 23:13

Er........

Patented with whom dare I ask??

Grin
Twunk · 01/03/2016 23:13

When I was a child I used to play "offices". I had an old phone and lots of paper and pens and a stapler, and I'd sit at a desk and have Very Important Phonecalls and write memos. Grin

It just feels like these "businesses" are just playing at it - it's not real, just a fantasy. It's all pretend.

sminkypink · 01/03/2016 23:14

Twunk surely you mean tiits ? You have to admit the sexual desire lipgloss is special?
