Note for newbies: "Downline" means people who are the lowest level of the pyramid/MLM scambralamabra.

Whilst RH's takedown of juice plus wasn't particularly nice, and a bit misogynistic, the number of hits showed if you can pitch it right, you can get tens of thousands of hits to warn against MLMs.

If there was anyone here creatively inclined, if we could make a parody video/song that would be easily shared that may help get the word out. E.g. Loved the Del Boy lyrics some clever person though of in the last thread. Unfortunately, I have no talents in that regards, but maybe we could all pitch in on the content?

Just came across a bot on YouTube who's promotional video suggests she lives in a rather lavish mansion, living a fancy life.

Quick look on her Facebook and she lives in a very normal terrace house.

But they're not conning people?

Well, I suspect you have probably all seen this video, but how anyone could watch it and not think 'con' is beyond me!!!

I journeyed from religious belief to skepticism, partly due to Scientology - if very bright people can be conned by Hubbard (and many were) - why can't bright people be conned by other, more mainstream beliefs? :)

I just do not like my friends being targeted - there is the friend currently selling FL who has a seriously ill child. There is the friend with ME who is being harassed to death.

This guy is a peach... The 3 ft rule? 😱😱 so tecnically I could be prospected in a public toilet cubicle? By nature of being within 3ft? But its ok, apparently you dont have to rely on that method as much now... Because of the internet, they can now prospect you in the comfort of your own home without being asked... I am horrified to think I am sitting on many a prospect list/s somewhere right now, who has next to no understanding of the data protection act, just to be targeted at the given opportunity. I am ex directory, on the tps, and abrv electoral roll for this exact reason. I dont want to be targeted! what makes me sick, is that these f-wits are able to target me through either abusing my trust directly (friend bot) or through someone else I trust (friend of a friend bot). This is how I keep getting added to groups/online parties that I never asked to be put in and knocks at the door to come to actual home launch parties etc.... Unnacceptable! What details do they hold? What about my kids? I have a teenager, are they on a list to be prospected when they come of age? Its dark, disturbing and a complete invasion of privacy!!!!

fully I too was told that I should be doing my mindset training before I got out of bed and again when I went to sleep. Now looking back I don't understand how I was sucked into it? But then again, that's clearly why I didn't get in too deep. I would only manage a few days of the mindset stuff before I got bored having to do it every day.

It appears this bot has been know for fibbing in the past. She's even on TVs blog with a wonderful shot of her view on holiday.... That was in reality a shot from a holiday website!

Ah skibot we loved her! Always trying to make her life look better than the reality by using photos of someone else's life.

I just don't understand how someone can use photos which aren't a true representation of events and yet still live with themselves. (I'm not big on photos anyway but that's another discussion.) It's some weird sort of Doublethink.

My favourite photo of skibot, with someone else's cheque but her hand over the name so that everyone thinks it is hers
