Natasha

Where do you believe your compensation actually comes from?

FLhahaha · 24/02/2016 13:55

One more question and then I will shut up. How do you keep the data you have on other people secure and do you train your downlines on data protection/security?

NatashaBarnBotShingles · 24/02/2016 13:55

Yes the company do ask us to support their events, but for example if there are 5000 tickets for a success day and 20,000 distributors it's not possible! They do ask that you support but they may mean a 1hour local business presentation twice a month etc. They don't ask that you're present at everything.

sminkypink · 24/02/2016 13:55

Vego who is posting here (working for another mlm) has plans to leave and open a cake shop, have you thought about what you might do if/when you leave?

Melaw21 · 24/02/2016 13:56

So let me ask again as you may have missed my question, you know someone on here who is allegedly a drug dealer and is deliberately trying to discredit you? That sounds pretty dreadful... Is that not something you would want to report to the authorities?

throwingpebbles · 24/02/2016 13:58

Lol natasha why is your knee jerk response to being asked difficult questions on social media to accuse someone of being a drug dealer???
You did the same on your Facebook last August when under fire didn't you? You went off on a big rant about how all the people criticising you were drug dealers/living off benefits ......
Weird.

Also in some ways I would say FL is as bad if not worse! Members of my family were sold tonnes of the stuff on a promise it would cure their severe arthritis ffs! And despite your protests, you have to take responsibility for the actions of your downline, you are profiting from those actions after all

Ooooh throwing is there previous here then? Interesting...

Eyespying · 24/02/2016 14:01

We all have a choice, we can buy or not buy

One of the universal identifying characteristics of a cult, is that they give their adherents the illusion that they are making free choices, when in fact, they are being subjected to co-ordinated devious techniques of social, psychological and physical persuasion, without their fully-informed consent.

Although similar techniques are present outside of cults, they are inflicted at a much higher level of intensity within cults and the type of exploitation they produce is far more serious and damaging.

NatashaBarnBotShingles · 24/02/2016 14:04

I base my training to my team on what has worked for me, it wasn't just my kids or just income it was about doing something or achieving something that I never thought I could. I would definitely ask the team to consider everything they want to gain from this otherwise it's hard to find motivation to keep going, it's easy to stay in bed all day when you work for yourself!! I still have to remind myself sometimes! So yes I suppose I would encourage that you have a focus or a reason but they wouldn't be asked to share that with me or anyone else if they didn't need to.
I did have a lady join a year ago who literally couldn't look at me she was so shy, I nearly didn't let her join but she broke down and said she struggles to leave the house and she just wanted to feel better. I knew I could help on that level and I worked with her tirelessly just on her confidence, it wasn't about her earning me a fortune, I earn about £70 from her business in a month. She's not a huge earner but earns enough that she could leave her part time job. What I found far more fulfilling is that she is a different person, she holds her head up and has buckets of confidence she never had before. Her husband has thanked me many times for the change he has seen in her and that honestly and truly is what I take more from in this job. THAT is where I get the most reward. It's nice to have nice things but my genuine passion has always been in care, I like to help! Too much sometimes! So for me that's what I try to do

Bovnydazzlers · 24/02/2016 14:05

natasha thanks for your time:

What's your view on recruiting in less developed countries e.g. Nigeria, Uganda, where a business in a box is worth many months salary? The products are too expensive for the mass market there, so it's impossible that the vast number of people who become involved will not end up losing money. I can't morally excuse this.

Do you know anyone who is living off the residual income?

What do you do when a down line posts a 'fake it before you make it' post?

Are you concerned about FLP market saturation point being reached in the UK?

Why do you think so many of the more successful FLP owners seem to rent rather than buy property? And what is with the FLP love of the white Range Rover??

Melaw21 · 24/02/2016 14:06

Also, I asked how your daughter would feel
About her personal medical details being widely available to a load of strangers due to your earlier post? Personally I feel very uncomfortable hearing them, especially when she has no control over the info you have just given, and is potentially quite vulnerable by your own admittance? 😬

NatashaBarnBotShingles · 24/02/2016 14:06

Cult??? Are you implying that my choice to use a product that works for me means I'm in a cult???
For the record I still use a different brand shampoo as I find I prefer it to ours.... That would be me having a choice! And as far as I'm aware the company haven't cut my hands off yet or sold me for a camel

VegoDoll · 24/02/2016 14:07

Natasha thanks for adding balance to this discussion, that was one essay. I hope you got that cup of tea and maybe a piece of cake

NatashaBarnBotShingles · 24/02/2016 14:07

She is 18 now, that was a long time ago! She was happy for me to brief it as she felt it was an important factor in why I am passionate about what I do

natasha castle chick advises she has circa 10 customers spending. Approx £100 per month on products.

That seems an insane amount to spend on products to me. How many of us can afford that (if we were that way inclined?).

How many retail customers do you have, what's their average monthly spend?

VegoDoll · 24/02/2016 14:09

Yes Natasha, we are cult leaders even though the thought of a church reminds me of attending Sunday service with my nanny as a kid and falling asleep every single time

Melaw21 · 24/02/2016 14:10

Thats weird, could have sworn you implied that the aloe was helping your 13 yr old daughter...so this was 5 yrs ago then? Didnt realise you had been flogging Aloe that long? Is that incorrect then?... goes back to read really long post AGAIN

xenu1 · 24/02/2016 14:13

Hi Natasha. Thanks for the reply! I only got as far as your first point before stumbling:

"1- you do NOT have to personally buy 1cc of product. It is a choice! No one shoots you if you don't!! But on the flip side how can we be genuine with our belief in our product if we don't even buy it!!"

This is from the official literature at gallery.foreverliving.com/gallery/FLP/download/Company_Policy/2013_06_27_Company_Policy_Eng.pdf

"4 Bonus Structure / Marketing Plan
(a) New Distributor. The Company pays:
• NDP Profit on the Personal Accredited Sales of personally-sponsored
Distributors who are not Wholesale Qualified.
(b) Assistant Supervisor is achieved by generating a total of 2 Domestic Personal and Non-Manager Case Credits within any 2 consecutive Month period. "

NDP is only 15% off Suggested Retail Price (and you could probably get that by buying from a distributor who gets the 30%) And for that 15% off retail(!) you have to have purchased the £200 starter kit.

Every other level requires AT LEAST 2CC (~£300) per month purchase of FL stuff.

Melaw21 · 24/02/2016 14:14

Here is the quote.... So have you been selling FL for 5 years then? You are a real long termer then?

Apologies that I misunderstood your daughters actual age...

"My daughter had previously been pumped full of roaccutane (look it up) at 13yrs old it caused her to become extremely depressed and made her eventually self harm, when I started this I found a product cleared her skin condition with no side effect and it cost £15. Again not a medical claim but an explanation as to why I personally love what I do and believe in our product."

Melaw21 · 24/02/2016 14:16

Still would be helpful If you would address the drug dealer statement, as that is a very serious allegation againts whomever you are referring too? And also a serious predicament for you to find yourself in? 😬

NatashaBarnBotShingles · 24/02/2016 14:16

I can't speak for others but I choose to rent as my financial history (before MLM) was rubbish! I found I struggled to get a mortgage when looking last year at buying my home. My home was also extremely cramped as my mum was also living with us and we literally had no room! So I chose to rent as it allowed us to live comfortably quicker than waiting God knows how many years to get a mortgage. I'm a kind of free spirit though, I do live for the moment and cross bridges that arise at the time so if that changes then I'm sure I may reconsider. Right now it was the best option for us.

I don't like Range Rover..... I have a RAV 4! Toyota never lets you down! Not that fancy but hey I love it!

Fake it before you make it annoys me like it does many of u! One of team put a picture of a new car on her Facebook and told everyone she had bought it.... She was politely told not to be an idiot! It got taken down but this is the kind of thing that makes us all look bad, I've never encouraged dishonesty it's pointless and people are not stupid! You only make yourself look dishonest and discredit the entire MLM industry. Are their some that do it and continue to do so? Probably! It's not something I agree with and I'm sure it's frowned upon by the majority! Again we can't control how someone chooses to portray themselves mores the pity!

Melaw21 · 24/02/2016 14:18

Drug dealer quote...

" I know one of the users on here is a drug dealer..... They don't get questioned or abused yet I do! Funny old world! They will stay anonymous because they know I would happily rip them apart for having the cheek to judge what I do when they happily take holidays on the tax payer and the profit from selling drugs. Begs the question as to the reason they are here?? They probably have nothing better to do than to spend their days trying to discredit my character because their own is massively flawed! Just my opinion!"
