I don't think it's that he's missed the point. I think as Eyespying says he doesn't want us using this terminology because it's the truth and they can't control what we say unlike in the organization.

Before we were rudely interrupted, I tabled the idea of a Facebook campaign on the local selling sites, to promote the Timeless Vie website.many of the users of these sites are your typical MLM victim target. Wonder if we could get parslaii viral?

As for the selling site thing, always check with page admins first so they understand what you are posting, otherwise I think its a good idea?

This is what I find so heartbreaking about this, what it does to tpeople, the fear it instills that wasn't there in the first place.

ha! I think I mentioned this before, both of my brothers do, but its taken university and 20 years of work! They don't have white cars, they're never on Facebook and they live in ordinary looking detached houses in nice villages. No barns.
All the money is being banked as savings so their kids can go to uni without incurring huge debts. No pissing it up the wall. No showing off, one brother takes his holidays in the UK and runs one car.

Seriously, the amount of people who I have had messaging me about this so called "helpful" thread in the last few days.

The cult mentality of convert or condemn only applies to MLM's and not the MLM bot thread on Mumsnet by the way.

It's a bit like systematic racism against black people, heaven forbid a black person were to actually respond to an attack with aggression, because that would prove the points made against them in the first place.

I find it remarkable that for so many people who seemingly know so much about MLM, many of you don't know a great deal at all judging by what you write.

The purpose of 'MLM' jargon is not only to provide a medium of expression for the unquestioning world-view and mental habits proper to 'MLM' core-adherents, but to make all other critical and evaluative modes of thought impossible.

Lashing out because we are raising awareness, and afraid to admit that we are hurting their income stream. I imagine he or she lost a prospect because of our work.
