Just when you think you've heard the worst of it you find out they take up a space in a cafe and don't order anything.

DollyTwat · 22/02/2016 22:41

I didn't think they were allowed to make medical claims?

It really is like they are playing at a business. In some ways it seems very juvenile and child-like. It's a strange conundrum.

dolly is that page active? So many of the business pages are very old (the last post) so I presume inactive. Highlights the churn rate though I guess.

Powertotheparalai · 22/02/2016 22:52

Melaw there she is! Thanks #hun I've missed her. She's saved to my phone now😂

DollyTwat · 22/02/2016 22:55

MrGrumpy yes it's just changed its name and is posting stuff. The 'about' section takes you to actual forever living web pages

SuffolkNWhat · 22/02/2016 23:32

Apparently the most scientifically researched "health product"

one of my bots has posted a picture of her dinner plus three bottles of 'mystery' pills if she thinks I'm going to ask what they are she's got a long wait #clean #healthy #feelingfabulous and the other is #excited #squeeeeeallygirlypants about the brainwashing event she's just paid through the nose for going to #Success #globalsynergy #dreambig

Personally I want to #vom

on the bright side no-one has de-friended me for my affiliation with TimelessVie yet Grin

throwingpebbles · 23/02/2016 06:15

Seems that way throwingpebbles Sad

MrGrumpy01 · 23/02/2016 07:08

That's really bad then.

keeptheaspidistra · 23/02/2016 07:50

Younique bot's attempt at a recruiting post. Not sure alluding to the fact you make no money is great business tactics but points for honesty.

PseudoBadger · 23/02/2016 08:34

There's an Arbonne flyer up in the coffee room at work advertising an event in the canteen. Shall I take it down...

throwingpebbles · 23/02/2016 08:35

No, don't take it down pseudo...just stick a Timeless Vie one over it Grin

cozietoesie · 23/02/2016 08:38

I like your approach, throwing. Smile

Eyespying · 23/02/2016 08:51

keeptheaspidistra - It might have been more honest of this Bot to have said:

If you were offered the opportunity to duplicate a plan to pay £100 per month to billionaire 'Mormon' racketeers and commit all your own resources to find other people to duplicate the same plan, etc, ad infinitum, on the pretext that after a year (provided you ignored all voices of reason, keft paying and worked all-hours at recruiting) the billionaire 'Mormon' racketeers would then start to pay you crocks of cash for the rest of your life ..... would you be desperate enough to start to believe this crackpot Utopian fairy story?

throwingpebbles · 23/02/2016 08:54

Not quite as eye catching as a meme though eyes Grin

thetemptationofchocolate · 23/02/2016 09:12

Someone upthread asked why people join, why they stay and why they leave. I can't speak for all but I can tell you why I did all those things.
I joined because good friends introduced me to it. DP is good at maths (I am not really) and he declared that the figures added up. It's a very very clever script and works on your needs & wants in a subtle way. We (and I'm sure our uplines too) obviously had NO IDEA about the scam element of it all. I think there were very few in this country who did know about that.
We stayed because we had invested so much time & energy in it. And we were still being fed that clever script. We were brainwashed, and it pains me to admit that.
We left because we were just too tired to go on with it.

If these threads and the blogs make only a few people think twice before falling for all this shit, they will be a priceless resource. My experience was 20+ years ago, we didn't have the internet then. I can only wish I'd been able to read all this, back then.

Eyespying · 23/02/2016 09:17

thetemptationofchocolate Respect! It's because of brave people like you that I have contiunued to expose the big 'MLM' lie.

cozietoesie · 23/02/2016 10:18

Oh Yes. Much respect.

bettyberry · 23/02/2016 10:52

No, she wasn't tryin to recruit or sell it. She isn't the seller. The person who owns the shop, it's their child who sells it. My friend just works there. The scentsy leaflet was left out for customers of the shop to look at and make a purchase from.

Tbh it does make me feel a bit 'eugh' when good Indy shops sell this sort of thing through them too but I can't complain because it will be seen as a personal attack.

bettyberry · 23/02/2016 10:55

Ooh we need printable stickers to stick over tha contact details! Can someone knock up a page of logos with the web addys on? I can do bugger all on my chromebook until Mac is replaced but something I could print onto stickers and stick over the top woul be fab. And harder to remove 😁
