I'd like to offer my respect to the person who has begun to lift the curtain on the blame-the-victim 'MLM' cultic racket known as, 'IT Works.'

Whoever you are, please just stand back and realise that 'IT Works' only works so long as the adherents keep swallowing the group's fiction as fact. The authors of the 'IT Works' fairy story, are just like the Wizard in the Wizard of Oz, hiding behind a curtain, and pretending to be all powerful and frightening. This act is just more 'MLM' bullshit.

Now that you know this, the racketeers who have been peddling this fairy story have far more to fear from you, than you from them. So please just keep calmly lifting that 'IT Works' curtain.

If you want to contact me for any help or advice, please feel to do so:

Whoever it is, I don't know why you are frightened. But from a legal perspective you have no need to be. I am a lawyer and I cannot think of any reason legally for you to be afraid. But assume it is not that but the thought of awful messages? I hope that you don't get any but if you do then this would be harassment and the police take it very seriously, the law will protect you. PM me if you wish, if you read this (if not can someone pass this info on?)

I just cant believe that this goes on , nothing but parasites all of them. Whoever you are please, you are so brave and we are all here for you. There are people who know the law on here who can help and advise you, this is absolutely disgusting, Im at a lost for words now.

stopfaffing · 14/02/2016 21:49

I was also looking at a christian forum where there was a thread from 2012 talking about this. No one was impressed by the company and most posters seemed to realise it was a scam a la Amway and an MLM and not to get involved.

BSintolerant · 14/02/2016 23:37

To our brave It Works informer,

You're bound to feel nervous, uneasy, and wobbly after you've got out of such an awful situation - there would be something wrong with you if you didn't feel that way. It's easy for us to say, but try not to worry. If anyone threatens you, or harasses you, that is a police matter. The law is on your side.

Good on you for telling your story.

We're right behind you.

Toobusytowee · 15/02/2016 00:40

Well done for leaving to the It Works informer and the other escapees on these threads. And thank you very much for sharing your experiences with us. It makes our distaste of MLMs more plausible and horrifying. You will be helping to disuade people from joining these scams and hopefully giving them the courage to leave. Well done.

Does anybody need any medical advice or prescriptions? I know just the bot for you...

So they're offering private medical advice now and poetry? It really is like the snake oil / quack adverts from years gone by.

What a load of tripe!

Just picking back up on Jamberry - I don't live in the UK and Jamberry had been going in the country that I live, offered by Americans. I have even held an online party for one of my friends who is a seller. Yes it is an MLM (had no clue what that was back at the time), but there was no pressure on me at all to become a distributor, and no repeated emails/Fb posts etc - it is all very low key here. And it is not one to be feared, I think, as how could anyone ever claim that a set of nail wraps could cure cancer/MS/eczema etc......? I have no idea about start up costs or anything, but the lack of aggressive recruiting suggests that they probably aren't high. So yes, it's an MLM, but not in the league of FL/JP etc......

[]www.bottlesoup.com/2015/04/18/jamberry-scamberry-why-the-latest-mlm-preying-on-sahms-will-never-give-you-financial-freedom/ here is a good explanation]] of why Jamberry could just as well be called Scamberry]] kathys

Yes, admittedly I don't see it as quite as jaw droppingly awful as the likes of Herbalife/Forever who also claim to cure all manner of illnesses. But it is still sucking a lot of money out of well meaning people

Sorry try this link

One bot has created a regular meetup club that she has called "Damsels in Success" and posted it on meetup.com

The blurb has been written to conceal the MLM origins. Check this out:

"Damsels in Success is a leading support system for women. We create the very best for ourselves by filling ourselves up first and using the system of success with ease. We allow and empower each other to be brighter, happier, more creative and generally amazing in everything we do by bringing our authentic self to all those we come into contact with. We are enough, we are unstoppable and we're in Newcastle! Meet with other Inspirational, fabulous, motivated women, just like you, in a supportive, uplifting atmosphere and learn the secrets to thinking BIG and feeling feminine while creating the absolute best version of you to bring to your business, home and your life. Ladies, we were born to do this."

All very #bossbabe

Have a dig around and the FL pitch becomes apparent.

throwingpebbles On the scale of danger, I would place the 'Jamberry' racket quite high, because the parasites behind it, have been searching out vulnerable victims by pretending they have the miraculous cure for the twin illnesses of poverty and depression.

FleeBee · 15/02/2016 11:08

Just come across this on a local FB page. The only comment is from a fellow-bot not heard of this one before

Oh Lord. This appears to be yet another one-Total Life Changes (TLC) according to google.

Spikeypants02 · 15/02/2016 11:41

From my last post change NC to NE!!

GeordieBadger · 15/02/2016 11:44

Total Life Changes hahaha. Oh well, at least it's accurate. You will experience a total life change - bankrupt and friendless.
