I think mentioning that the founder of Forever has donated money to an anti-gay marriage campaign is quite a good way to express disinterest without coming across as negative. There's no way for the recruiter to dismiss your reasoning without coming across as homophobic or being negative themselves.

Exactly Gimlet, there is also the ethical side. Look at the Nestle scandal, encouraging women in the third world to shun breast feedling in favour of powdered baby milk.
I can't see that Forever is any different, that video of the Indian mother giving her infant the drinking gel, the Ugandan woman having spent the equivalent of half a years salary on the business in a box. There is someone from Bangladesh posting on the Forever official page. Average salary for a working class Bangladeshi is £500 a year.
They are scum. They need outing in the same way that Nestle was.

huh. so it's completely rigged so only certain people will really succeed. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse it does.

but that DOES explain something we've all noticed - why some bots seem to, with relatively little effort, suddenly get a brazillion likes and vimeos made about them etc and have rented castles.

and I have noticed that those bots tend to be cuter than average, photogenic etc.

This makes total sense, I always wondered if this was the case with Arbonne... I can see it's the case with certain other MLM's.

motorhead doesn't it though? We've been bot-watching for a while and seen it happen - suddenly one of them shoots up the rigged pyramid like a rocket and we're all like huh? I was joking that they must send out a bot-signal to like certain bot's pages etc, seems i wasn't far wrong

1. in your example, does B know that A has been moved underneath her? Or is she just blissfully ignorant thinking yay go me I got promoted!

2. can this be done more than once? So let's say D joins later on, looks hot and is compliant with all the mindset crap - can C move A under D for a month so that D also promotes?

cubic no it's not, agreed. we never really thought it was. so interesting, the more we peel back the more the dark fucked up maw of grossness is revealed.

Mummystar123, if you got to FB there is a page called Bot Watch (the picture is an aloe vera plant) where links and info is posted that has come up in these threads. The Penn and Teller film is good and shows MLMs not working.

The Timeless Vie blog is good at showing why they don't work. The Timeless Vie FB page is a spoof MLM page which shows how ridiculous the whole thing is, and will probably make you laugh.

so basically: ugly non-photogenic people are always doomed to be slaveys at the bottom. cute, photogenic blondes who are willing to be mind-set will be promoted over them. Kinda like Hitler Youth.

cubic yup, I certainly didn't look like that after my baby.

At 12 minutes 30 seconds, this Bot explains where all her (claimed) 29 recruits per year were found. She then brandishs a fat list of all the 750+ potential victims she's apparently cold-called in just 12 months, and boasts that she approached even more.

Laughably, she then admits that virtually every one of the wrong sort of people she's so far committed two years of life entrapping, has vanished, but that's OK, because she's now finding the right sort of people.
