Haha! The PUPP box should go to the Environmental Health office for testing. "Oh, but it's only like using samples in a high street store." Like hell it is!

xenu1 · 09/02/2016 10:00

NorbertDentressangle "I mean, it's only the fact that I'm a brunette that's holding me back from a six figure income."

That and you seem to still have a functioning rational capability. Please consult your TV upline ASAP: you need to get out that credit card and attend more functions and success days to combat this "stinking thinking" :)

NorbertDentressangle · 09/02/2016 10:06

xenu - I hear you.

Right....success days across the UK booked, hotels booked, kids farmed out to friends of friends so I can focus.

Another credit card application made (only temporary of course as I'll be able to pay them all off by the end of the month as I'll be bringing in £5k a week by then)

Oh, and appointment made for HD brows

eyes I'll go to your website and take this off MN. I just wanted to point out that your $cn analysis was not accurate and this, unfortunately, can impact your excellent credibility on MLMs.

wrt "My statement about Jim Jones sexually abusing men, women and children, was based on various published testimonies, but mainly on the testimony of the major whistle blower who escaped from 'Jonestown 'and who was repeatedly sexually abused by Jim Jones. I once spent an hour in conversation with that witness whom I met at a meeting of the Leo. J. Ryan Foundation. Might I ask what is your evidence for doubting her testimony?"

I have "Black and White" by Naipaul (excellent), Deborah Blakeys "Seductive Poison" (which is self-serving), and Tim Reiterman's "Raven" the latter is exhaustive in the American way. They mention Jones' sexual predations on the PT members and his homosexual passes at male members. Jones had many mistresses, not least Maria Katsaris who was young enough to be his daughter - but there is no mention that I can find of child sexual abuse by Jones.

Could someone explain to me how the pretty large Amazon and eBay presences fit into the market and how these people/firms are getting away with it for some considerable time (as evidenced by feedback dates) given that products are not supposed to be sold in these marketplaces?

Are these rogue sellers that the organisation 'overlooks' and doesn't bother to deal with or is there some money stream that isn't immediately obvious?

sminkypink · 09/02/2016 10:31

I think it depends on the organisation, I know from working in the fashion trade, on the production side of things, that some retailers have had some success at getting ebay to remove auctions of products that they don't want sold on there, usually the likes of fake Uggs, that sort of thing.
But a brand like Ugg will have a multi million pound budget to spend on brand protection alone.
Seeing as MLMs limit spend on even their own products, then I can't see them spending a penny on brand protection.
Maybe FL make a lot more noise to their FBO's than they do the official auction sites? Although they make a lot of noise to their F.B.O. about it, they may not care that much.

cozietoesie · 09/02/2016 10:44

I thought they had more control over their product supply. And some very active lawyers.

cozietoesie · 09/02/2016 10:47

PS - I'm talking about 'embedded' sellers here and not the odd person selling off some surplus stock to try to recoup losses.

1gorgeousson · 09/02/2016 10:48

I thought of you ladies when I saw this video this morning Smile

Patzy85 · 09/02/2016 11:04

1gorgeousson - he used the word 'may' a lot, didn't he!

sminkypink · 09/02/2016 11:13

cozietoesie they might imply that they have active lawyers, whilst not giving a shit, in real life.

Eyespying · 09/02/2016 11:15

Xenu1 - You ignore the fact that I have published various extended articles explaining in minute detail the origins of the 'Scientology/Dianetics' fairy story.

As for Jim Jones, I suggest you look deeper, because the original testimonies which led to a media expose of the Peoples' Temple (but which Jones pre-empted by fleeing to Guyana) include detailed accusations that he was habitually sexually-abusive towards men, women and children in his group(s). The journalists also gathered detailed accusations that Jones had been pimping the under-age daughters of his adherents in order to blackmail politicians and law enforcement agents.

cozietoesie · 09/02/2016 11:17

I wonder what pay and conditions are like for the workers actually producing the items in comparison to the items' retail price? (There probably aren't too many blondes out working in the fields or on the assembly lines.)

sminkypink · 09/02/2016 11:17

I mean, look at all of the other things they imply that we know are not true!

BSintolerant As far as I know, Eric Sheibeler never made any explicit claims about how much he was supposed to be earning in 'Amway'. It was always implied that he enjoyed a 'millionaire dream lifestyle flying the world'

In fact, such precise claims as EC's are very rare in 'MLM' rackets

The fact that EC has been so explicit, is extremely interesting.

sminkypink · 09/02/2016 11:54

I do remember him questioning his upline as to why he didn't have a six figure income. I will have to take some screengrabs from the book

NorbertDentressangle · 09/02/2016 12:09

This bot clearly didn't get the memo about easing up on the bogus health claims (posted this morning)

sminkypink As far I recall, the most Eric was ever paid gross by 'Amway' in a 12 month period, was around $30k. His average annual net-loss was $10k.

Eric also was paid net-loss speaking fees and he was just beginning to be offered a share of the 'tools' scam. He actually took the conscious decision to get out when it was explained to him that 'tools' were where all the 'leaders' money was made.

Eyespying · 09/02/2016 12:17

sminkypink- Also notice how Eric was so brainwashed that even when he discovered the truth, he still preferred to believe that the DeVos and Van Andel clans were largely unaware that the 'tools scam 'was present in their company. Eric first contacted 'Amway' HQ to blow the whistle. That was when all hell broke loose and Eric finally understood that the whole 'Amway' organization was involved in the fraud. The full truth temporarily floored him.

MrGrumpy01 · 09/02/2016 12:21

In terms of eBay I am not sure they take a 'but we don't want them to sell it on your platform' as a reason to pull listings. It would be interesting to know what eBay's policy is in situations like this.

Instead FL tend to go down the 'if it is on eBay it will be fake' route in an attempt to deter buyers rather than tackling the sellers.

darceybussell · 09/02/2016 12:27

They probably get nasty with you if you are still in FL and they know you are doing it, but they probably can't stop people who have left trying to dump their unsold tat
