They think nothing of trawling everyone's fb friends lists ...but block there on friends list !! I say expose everyone of the bullshitting fuckers ! They crash into to your life with there lying bullshit and think nothing of destroying lifelong friendships + families !!! They deserve to b called out ....every single one of them ....if they don't like it then they should fuck off from Facebook !!! They need running outta of town 😠

sminkypink · 30/01/2016 14:27

Yes I watched a training video yesterday where one of the top bots advises trawling Facebook profiles in countries you don't live in. How nice.
Since realising I'm on WDYK lists, I've locked my profile down - friends list private, only I can see it, public profile restricted. If I get added to a bloody party or presentation, (another one yesterday, bloody hell do they ever stop), or get prospected by private message, I quietly leave the conversation or group and then block the account, I'm not giving this scam any oxygen.

This is brilliant, I think you'll all love it!

Beautifully entitled - Why you're a twat if you sell Forever Living Products.

Patzy85 · 30/01/2016 15:40

"You can always tell if something is a cast iron, bag of shit scam if they have invented their own certification for the product!"

LOL

Patzy85 · 30/01/2016 15:43

Fullyloaded - I love this quote from that link.

"So in order to achieve YOUR financial goals, you have built an organization where fully 99.6% are unable to achieve THEIR financial goals."

Yet about changing lives and wanting to help others. Hmm yeah, right!

Fullyloaded1 · 30/01/2016 15:45

There was brilliant link on a previous thread on here about mlm scams ...it was very sweary but very funny (c word was in the title) sminky can u remember it 😂

Mootpointer · 30/01/2016 16:03

lastuseraccount123 · 30/01/2016 16:46

don't worry botwatchers, TV is planning a post about training of #VIEStars. Inspired, as always, by Juice pLus and FL training docs. FUN!

cozietoesie · 30/01/2016 16:49

Out of interest, do any of you think there's an 'embarrassment factor' mitigating against people leaving? I didn't put that well, I know, but a sort of 'I've burned my boats, ruined my family/friendship circle and that's only justifiable in the wee small hours if I try to make this work in some way.'

It sounds to me as if the leaving is the hardest thing. How do you face other people calmly and positively afterwards?

Patzy85 · 30/01/2016 16:55

Cozie - it's definitely one of the factors as to why some people either end it quietly and never mention it again or continue to pump money in to it.

Some of the more brainwashed/naive ones are genuinely scared to disappoint their up line or sponsor.

To the bots reading this KNOWING that it isn't for them and realising they've been lied to, don't worry about the embarrassment of it ending. No one in real life sees you as a failure at all. In fact, 99% of people will have more respect for you, especially if you are HONEST about the reasons why it didn't work - how you were conned in to it. This prevents others making the same mistake and you would be doing the world a favour!

lastuseraccount123 · 30/01/2016 16:57

coetzie i agree which is why TV has tried to reach out and tell them not to be embarrassed - they were lied to.

OP posts:
rayofhope · 30/01/2016 16:59

I would say a lot of it is that cozie I wasn't in too deep (didn't have a massive team) I feel embarrassed when people ask how FL is going now. What do I say? Wasn't for me? Got a new job? Products too expensive? Too many people doing it in my local area?

I don't want people to say 'I told you so' but equally I want people to know it's not all it's cracked up to me and a lot is all smoke and mirrors. I have about £500 left on my credit card to pay off. The bitter reminder each month of wanting the business to work when it was doomed to fail from the start. But I'm just so glad it didn't run into £1000's. Although I'm so annoyed I took to putting my orders on my credit card. I wish I hadn't done that.

Patzy85 · 30/01/2016 16:59

Fullyloaded - couldn't agree more. It really changes people and NOT in a good way. I have a bot who thinks she is goods gift since buying an overpriced box of toiletries and I know that I can't say a word because she is so up her sponsors arse she would only be told to cut the well meaning 'negative' people out.

Eyespying · 30/01/2016 17:07

cozietoesie The overwhelming majority of fraud victims, not just 'MLM' frauds, always remain silent. Embarrassment is obviously a strong factor, but also many fraud victims think that they might get accused of breaking the law themselves. Con artists have invariably offered victims fake ways to make money that aren't strictly, even if they weren't fake.

The non-existent counterfeit money scam, is a classic example. Victims are tricked into believing they can buy perfect fake money at half face value. When they turn up (always in a private location) with a suit case of real cash, the con-artist can rob them at gun point knowing that the victims daren't go to the police.

In 'MLM' rackets, the victims are also the perpetrators.

'MLM' cults have succeeded in convincing many victims that 'MLM' had been fully-vetted and deemed legal by governments around the world, and that, consequently, all attempts to complain will be laughed at.

Annie65 · 30/01/2016 17:22

Rayofhope, never feel embarrassed about realising what a scam Fl is. I for one am very impressed with you and all the other people who have come away from the pyrimid schemes. It takes a lot of courage to do what you have done. I havnt been through it so can only imagine what you had to go through. It sounds as though these so called friends, that say they will be there for you always, can get quite nasty.

Eyespying · 30/01/2016 17:28

Again, can I offer my respect to all the brave persons wo have confessed on MN to having been temporarily duped/enslaved by an 'MLM' racket.

I was cheated by my own brother who was under the influence of his 'Amway' handlers. When I realised that the emotional blackmail, and blame the victim techniques, my brother had been using on me, and on persons close to me, were essentially the same as those used in all cults, I was in a state of shock. I sat down and wrote a full account of what had happened, but it took me quite a while to recover. The experience completely changed my view of the world.

Even if you have not been a cult adherent, facing up to the reality that cultic racketeers in another country have been using your friends, or relatives, to gather personal info about you in order to rob you and prevent you from complaining, is an impossible mountain to climb for many people.

My brother is one of the majority of ex- 'MLM' cult adherents who have never faced the reality of what they were involved in, or told the truth about what they did under the influence of their groups.

Patzy85 · 30/01/2016 17:30

One thing I really dislike is that if you have been targeted by a bot to 'join their exciting business opportunity' (I know many of you have) this is the profile they have on you.

Your personal details being passed about to their upline. The 'personality' check list. The dissecting who you are (in their opinion) and why they want you, even if just to bleed you of £200 for their 2cc.

Hope they understand data protection law then patzy Shock !!!

throwingpebbles · 30/01/2016 17:33

Some regulators may be asleep but the information commissioner seems to do a lot ...

Eyespying · 30/01/2016 17:37

Patzy85 We should perhaps remind MN readers that Craig Morgan had every tiny detail of his life and personality, passed to his ex-wife's 'FLP Upline' handlers, by his ex-wife, in order that he could be manipulated, exploited, robbed and silenced.

I now know, that given enough personal information about an individual and direct access to him/her, you can work out a way to get that individual to almost anything you want.
