darceybussell - They could be asleep at the 'FLP' Ministry of Truth tonight. The quantity of evidence proving serious criminal activity which has been freely available on the Net, almost beggars belief. The deluded Irish shill FLBot in the video, might as well have signed a full-confession of guilt.

clarinsgirl · 29/01/2016 23:50

This explains the huge flaw in the Irish Shill's simple plan to make £200k per month. k0lee.com/2008/02/the-mathematics-of-mlms/.

Can't believe that no-one in the audience asked 'but what about each one of these 4000 people who work for me who each need to recruit 4000 people? That's 16 million people, who then need to recruit 4000 each and that would be over double the population of the planet.'

Presumably they are all so brainwashed by this stage that they are no longer capable of thinking.

Eyespying · 29/01/2016 23:51

dadandmum The Bots have been trawling the Net looking for information which they can use to entrap people. They tailor their bait to fit the individual 'prospect' always giving him/her the illusion that he/she is making free-choices.

Eyespying · 30/01/2016 00:00

clarinsgirl - In a ritual 'MLM' cult meeting like this, it is virtually impossible to argue with the psychologically-domininant 'Prosperity Gospel' preacher. If someone did try to speak up, the congregation would turn on them.

It would be exactly the same as a lone dissenter standing up in a fundamentalist chapel, church, mosque etc., and crying paradise doesn't exist and accusing the Pastor, Priest, Imam of being a charlatan.

clarinsgirl · 30/01/2016 00:09

I see what you mean Eyespy. Terrifying stuff.

cynicbuthappy · 30/01/2016 00:09

I'm so very glad this thread continues the excellent work. I hope Siwi is ok. #nevergiveupneversurrender

Sh*t, I've fallen prey to the hashtagging! Wink

Gimlet1984 · 30/01/2016 00:24

Eyespying Do you feel that enough evidence has been gathered of criminal activity within FLP to warrant investigation?

Eyespying · 30/01/2016 00:26

clarinsgirl I find it very helpful to think of the 'MLM' pseudo-science as being to economics what 'creationism' is to evolutionary biology.

The crackpot pseudo-ecomomic theory that never-ending recruitment + never-ending payments by the recruits = never-ending profits for the recruits, is also the equivalent bullshit to 'perpetual motion'.

All pyramids and Ponzis are based on creating a form of non-rational ritual belief. This is a rare example of a non-rational ritual belief which is illegal to spread in most countries, but which has never really been clearly identified by legislators.

Interestingly, there have been cults with leaders who have claimed to have possessed the secret of perpetual motion.

lastuseraccount123 · 30/01/2016 00:38

a couple of things

  1. blog is over 12,000 views. I really have to thank FL for their freakout, they have helped drive so much more traffic to tV. Thanks, aloesers!

cant' remember the other thing now

Eyespy the phrase non-rational ritual belief is brilliant. It helps to explain to me why I loathe these schemes so much (I love logic and I prefer proof over belief any day).

Not sure if this has been posted before but it shows what lengths these bots will go to.

I guess if mlms claims to be able to break mathematical principles they may as well claim to break the first and second laws of thermodynamics too. I wonder if shills can walk on water? (Over priced aloe water obviously).

Mlmwmnbn · 30/01/2016 00:52

I get the 'Striesland Effect'!

Eyespying · 30/01/2016 00:58

clarinsgirl

Do you know this movie in which Pater Sellers Walks on water?

Gimlet1984 · 30/01/2016 00:58

Eyespying I know you mentioned the apparent inaction of uk business regulators regarding these mlm schemes. The evidence seems to be out in the open but no one wants to bite which is unfortunate. In your recent correspondence with Greater Manchester Police did they seem more concerned than previous talks?

We can only hope the law changes and that the freedom of information act also includes private companies. If the records were available as you say the evidence would speak for itself.

clarinsgirl · 30/01/2016 01:09

No, not seen the film. Very apt though Smile

Eyespying · 30/01/2016 01:12

Gimlet1984 'FLP' is just one of countless fronts for this type of cultic racketeering. It is my considered opinion that this is an ongoing historically significant criminogenic phnenomen which trade regulators have been effectively powerless to deal with, because 'MLM' is not business, has never been business and never will be business (in the traditional sense of the word). It would be very helpful if British trade regulators were to tell the truth and say that 'MLM' racketeering has been not only beyond their remit, but also beyond their understanding.

I have spoken with Professional Standards Dept. personnel and with a liason officer to the Chief Constable of Greater Manchester. In private, and as individuals, these people are generally very supportive of my concerns, but publicly they are constrained not to offer an opinion. They seem quite interested by my proposed common-sense idea of educating officers in the police service not to become involved in 'MLM' rackets.

cynicbuthappy · 30/01/2016 01:33

One more thing from me tonight: I am so impressed with the exbots on these threads. Your inputs are invaluable, and I think you're all incredibly brave.

Gimlet1984 · 30/01/2016 01:36

Eyespying It seems for now the best action we can take is to teach potential recruits the dangers of these schemes. The awareness to this particular scam seems to be growing massively every day which is encouraging. As you say Mlm doesn't really function as a business and really warrants reclassification with our regulators. In this day and age racketeering shouldn't be allowed to continue when it's clearly detrimental to both the public and those choosing to signup with the company.
