Help With Checking Pay!

Hello all! Is anyone good with numbers?!

I want to check I am being paid correctly but it's a bit complicated.

Suppose to have had a pay rise so should be on £25,000.

I get paid weekly...which makes it a little tricky!

Before tax,insurance and student loan I get : £480.77 a week.(With it deducted I get £373.31

This is just going on my first payslip with pay rise this month.

Does that work out to £25,000 ?

Thank you! I wasn't paid correctly before so I want to make sure everything is right this time!

If you go onto thesalarycalculator.Co.uk you can enter your annual salary and tax code and deductions and it tells you what you should expect to receive Smile

£480.77 X 52 = £25,004

It really isn't a difficult calculation....

I would also recommend The Salary calculator for working out your net income.

It's never 100% spot on, but always right within £20 or so when I use it for my monthly income, so a very good indicator. It's also very handy if you're expecting any sort of overtime or bonus and want to know what that month/weeks net salary will be as it works it all out for you.
