Continuing the discussion of the various network marketing schemes or multi-level marketing schemes (MLMs) that people we know are involved in.

If you have a bot of your own then join us and share what they are saying!

Or if you are researching a company before signing up to be a network marketer please take a look at the previous bot watch thread and also this thread which delves deeper into the workings of MLMs.

And don't forget our very own MN MLM Timeless Vie!

Socksrock, thats what I thought but she is plastering it all over FB. She has sent me a message asking what Im doing on the 17th, she knows Thursdays are my day off, crafty mare, told her Im xmas shopping, waiting now for a reply. Im afraid I will have to tell her a few home truths, politely of course.Wink

Annie65 · 09/12/2015 13:48

She asked me to a pre-Christmas relax party with mulled wine and mince pies and facials, I assume with FL products. I gave no excues, just said "no thanks", she replied"ok hun, maybe next time". Well it looks like Im going to have to have a chat face to face with her.Wink

LittleMissStubborn · 09/12/2015 18:03

Read a bit more on the nethuns thread. Never mention that you have had a bad day at work, you'll be jumped on quicker than you can say 'I need a holiday' Hmm

sminkypink · 09/12/2015 18:47

Anyone else follow the timeless vie Twitter and get followed by endless dumbass mlm bots? They don't undestand satire.

lastuseraccount123 · 09/12/2015 20:29

yes, it's hilarious.

Could someone please link to the net mums thread?

Last - fabulous. You might as well join fl because you have a gift for bs.

sminkypink · 10/12/2015 10:55

there are several FL threads on Nethuns, do a search, take your pick, all are a car crash of, 'yes I've been doing this five weeks, I absolutely love it, let me help you do the same.' Despite people asking, yeahbut how much do you actually earn? I only found one posting in the hundreds on there, where someone did admit how much they earned. £800-£1000 a month and that was with 400 people in their downline. 400 people hassled to death for just £800 a month How many thousands would you need to get that two grand a month that they tout? And someone saying they have friends who got into debt, as they were buying stock to keep (because of course no one wants to buy it) so they could keep their manager status. It's the keepy uppy that gets you, isn't it?
There is quite a bit of illegal prescribing going on and total indignance when it's pointed out that the so-called pure Aloe Gelly contains parabens. 'It's only a tiny bit of paraben, hun.'
So, what a surprise, no honesty. Try asking a bot, in public, on their Global Business Mentor Facebook page, what the business actually is and you will get nowhere, nowhere at all. They will not tell you. All brainwashing is done in private.
And that's why I love the latest Timeless Vie post, says it all, Google any of these six figure earning bots and the reality is somewhat different. Have any of them actually made it or are they all faking it? #thecastleisrented #thewhiterangeroverisleased

sminkypink · 10/12/2015 11:14

correction, 250 in your downline in order to get £800-£1000 a month (although how much she is spending on Aloe shite ourselves we will probably never know.)

LittleMissStubborn · 10/12/2015 12:25

The mse thread posted previously was interesting. Someone posted about a not losing money and the reply was 'unless you stockpile stock you can't loose money' They obviously don't see the cost involved in all the training, books, success days etc. A fool and his money as they say.

sminkypink · 10/12/2015 12:45

A mate does the sound at some of the big FL events (he's a freelance sound engineer and as well as some of the big rock acts, he does a lot of this stuff too). He and his counterparts refer to them as the 'cactus drinkers.' Grin

Annie65 · 10/12/2015 13:07

Sminky, cactus drinkers, thats made me smile. Some of them are a bit green and prickly.Grin

SarahS245 · 10/12/2015 13:13

Can I join in please?! :D New member here who was stupid enough to join not 1 but 2 MLM companies :/ Started with younique which cost me £69 to join, made £25 and was charged to use that £25 cos they make you use some silly bank account that they set up then went to ActiDerm which cost me another £85 cos I was convinced Younique just "wasn't the right company for me"

sminkypink · 10/12/2015 14:56

welcome Sarah

LittleMiss I read a convo where a FL rep was complaining about not making a penny, the advice she got was to put all of her payments in a separate account! And then she would see how much money she was making. There's a reluctance to point out the difference between turnover and profit. Because obviously it would blow the illusion of making much out the water. As you say, how much of that £800 per month goes back to FL in the form of training/more aloe shite?

I'm aghast that they will charge £25 for a training day and can't even stump up for lunch, not even a sandwich. They don't get money back for petrol or anything. A normal self employed sales rep selling to retailers, for a normal (i.e. not an mlm/pyramid) toiletries company would be fully expensed for an event like that, food, drinks and petrol would all be claimed for. If it wasn't free then no one would go! Me too, as a self employed freelancer, my clients pay for all of my travel and subsistence. I went on a DTI training day for one of my clients last year, she paid for the ticket (£150) and I also charged her per hour for attending it. I've attended sales events for her, again she paid and I invoiced her ontop of that. I wouldn't make enough money to live on, if my clients expected me to pay for this stuff. The FL reps are being ripped off left right and centre and refuse to cannot see it.

lastuseraccount123 · 10/12/2015 16:30

sminky agreed it's very frustrating how few of them seem to know how a real business works.

sarah you are NOT stupid. They design everything to suck you in. Most of us have been sucked in to buying products for friends/going to parties/etc. so if you're stupid so were we Grin

stopfaffing · 10/12/2015 20:03

Checkin out nethuns and a new thread has been started today

www.netmums.com/coffeehouse/working-childcare-692/working-689/1428802-forever-living-your-thoughts.html

asking for comments about fl, positive or negative.

LittleMissStubborn · 10/12/2015 20:50

Doesn't want to change your mind, but will point out where you are wrong. Grin

Annie65 · 10/12/2015 20:51

The 60 day money back option for FL is also a con, if the customer wants a refund, the person who sold the item has to refund them out of their own pocket, then FL refund them, not with money, but with other products.Hmm

Kewcumber · 10/12/2015 22:20

My FL bot has taken that step into recruitment from flogging products. I find it really sad.

sminkypink · 10/12/2015 22:24

stopfaffing Well that looks like another thinly veiled recruitment drive, to me, seeing as the admin has had to edit. Damn those cactus drinkers!

lastuseraccount123 · 10/12/2015 22:59

I'm sorry kew.

stopfaffing · 11/12/2015 07:25

Loving the latest TV page "why we think you'll lose money in an MLM" Grin.

timelessvie.wordpress.com/

sminky yes, it is hard to know where to start telling them our 'concerns' about fl and MLMs in general.

lazycoo · 11/12/2015 10:37

cheers acatcalledjohn - honesty extracts was based on a real message a bot sent my friend bragging about FL honesty extracts - I just loved it!
lastuser you are a legend - yet another amazing post. I've shared it on FB already.
Sarah welcome - you're not stupid by any means - this is how the game is played. Glad you're here. I'm glad you're ALL still here and chatting. I'm sorry I've been quiet recently.

rayofhope · 11/12/2015 10:39

I really want to comment on the netmums one but can't as it will reveal my real name. Someone ask her what level she is in Forever

lastuseraccount123 · 11/12/2015 16:41

ray yup, guaranteed she's some kind of shill/bot-spy, we've had them on our threads too. no matter WHAT you ask them, they will side-step the actual question and try and turn it round on you. Very manipulative.

so, i thought everyone might like a TV blog update. "Why we think you'll lose money n an MLM" has had 25 shares on FB, our best yet. nearly 800 unique views and over 2000 reads of the blog. Also, lots of the traffic on the "Why we think you'll lose money" page. Some people are also clicking through to the other blogs/company check/British medical journal sites, which is good. GO team!

lastuseraccount123 · 11/12/2015 16:51
