Help with NI and HRP

OK. I gave up work in 1999 to look after dc1. Then had 3 more dc. The youngest is now 9 and oldest 17.

Stupidly, and I don't know why, child benefit was paid in Dh's name into our joint account. I have not NI a thought until just now Blush. If child benefit was paid to me I'd have got HRP automatically, but obviously this has not happened. Is there a way I can back claim it?

Oh thank you. I was on that page, but didn't scroll far enough down to the part about transferring entitlement.
