PPI on Egg Credit Card

It has finally dawned on me that I may well having been paying PPI on an Egg credit card I had about 15 years ago.

I don't have any of the original paperwork and obviously Egg is no longer so how on earth do I check?

Any advice gratefully received.

Peppers salt... How have you got on? Only by seeing the adverts in Facebook have I realised I may also be owed PPI they charged.. If I'm understanding it properly.. Were Egg not telling people they were charging it and added it in anyway to the charges?
