Family Tax Credit, Chlid Tax Credit, Sure Start Maternity Grant, Advice Please!

I thought my baby day were over I have 2 DC and now there in school and settled, and I was just going to get my self back in the work place but I have found myself PG again I really want this baby but DH cant stop worrying about money matters!
I was after knowing where I stand with the sure start Maternity Grant! We receive WFTC of 4k+ and CTC of ?760+, will I be intituled to the Maternity Grant

Apply anyway BTW as I was sure we werent eligible from the way it was worded and we were! I missed out with DS1 because I didnt apply because I though we wouldnt get it!

yes you should get it as think it works out you should be getting over £1800. We just ogt ours and I get less than you.

Does it go by WFTC or CTC?
With my 2 DC I was a singel stay at home mum and only got £100 each and it was much easyer to work out, this time I dont know weather I'm coming or going!

If your getting more than 547 per year (£10.50 per week) for ctc you should get the sure start grant.

A firend of mine said that in April 07 that the SSM-grant goes up to £700 is this true!?

no idea about it going up but it is currently £500

I got in when i was recieving WFTC and CTC (i'm sure i was getting the same as you). £500 was very useful when 2nd came along
