Credit cards

Quick question:

My credit card statement only came through yesterday (but was dated weeks ago so was a cock up by the post office) but it has a payment due by date of the 17th August which is tomorrow. If I pay it tomorrow in cash will it be credited immediately or will my payment be late?

should be ok but you need to get it done in the morning at a bank, and then ring the credit card people to confirm.

do you really need to do it with cash? Do you not have online banking?

it would be well worth setting up, that way your cc statements don't get stuck in the post and you get an email/text to say they have arrived. Then wih online banking you can set up a future payment to pay the bill in time.
