Weird response to a PPI claim - very confusing!

I put in a PPI claim for a credit card that I haven't used, not had a card for, for a long time. I sent the claim off on Monday so didn't expect to hear anything this early. However, this morning I got a letter from them saying that they are "pleased to confirm that a new card has been sent in the name requested". What does this mean and has it been triggered by the PPI reclaim? I have married since I last used the card but the bank did know this - I just assumed they didn't re-issue this particular card as I'd not used it for so long.
