Childcare vouchers vs tax credit

I'm a single mum of one and am about to go back to work full time. My child will go into nursery full-time and I am a basic tax payer. Does anyone know if I would be better off pursuing childcare vouchers or tax credit? Thanks!

Personally, I would go for tax credits because despite the system being far from perfect, being prone to mistakes and the staff making you feel guilty, it responds to your circumstances far more quickly than the voucher system.
