b*er - we have just been turned down for an extension on our (dutifully paid every month for the last 15 years) mortgage which we want to have a new kitchen.
What's the best route to go down now? Loan? Change mortgage? help!

Do you know what kitchen you want? IKEA will do interest free finance over 1 or 2 years if that's any use?

How much did you want to borrow? In the end we went for a whole new mortgage with a different lender

not an Ikea unfortunately - think we may have to change lenders. It's all so annoying. thanks

Save up for it? cheaper than paying the interest. Are you close to a LTV limit?
