Hi. I need to know who to ask questions in order to fill in my tax credits renewal.
I'm 29+2.
My problem is, I don't know how much maternity pay I will receive. (Going on maternity mid July).
My contract hours are 24. I have only been working between 12 and 18 the last 2/3 months.
What is the maternity pay based on? Last year's income, this year's average weekly income, or what I should get working 24 hours?
The figures are so different, that I can't just guess which one to use. I don't know who to speak to in order to ask. Tax credits themselves are never especially knowledgeable. CAB are extremely hard to get hold of. Do I ask the Jobcentre people??
