Tax Free Allowance - How to claim when you have two PT jobs?

Can someone please advise? My 18yo DD has a part time job (just 3 hours per week). Her employer does her a payslip each month and she is nowhere near the tax free allowance of £10k per annum.

In the summer she is taking on another part time job but they say they have to tax her full whack as they are not her first job. I would have thought she would get back that tax as there is no way she will get anywhere near £10k per year.

How does she get back any tax she has paid if she hasn't reached the tax free allowance?

Thanks

She will need to make a note of her NI number, ask both employers for their employer reference and then call HMRC and explain and ask them to split her personal allowance between the 2 jobs.

HMRC will then notify both employers who should then deduct no tax.
