Swiftcover Insurance

I'm looking at taking out a policy with Swiftcover at the moment, and was wondering if anyone has any experience of their customer service, speed at dealing with claims etc.

The quote I have is over £50 cheaper than MoreThan, Esure and others, but if their cs is really dire I think I'd rather pay the extra.

Any experiences of them would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Not used swiftcover
Used esure - found them fine - claimed and they paid up no problem

We use swift cover and we made a claim a few months ago when dh reversed into a wall (if it had been me he would not have let me live it down) and there were no probs.
We were with NU before and left them because their call centres are in India and when I was trying to change some details on my policy I had problems getting the people in the call centre to understand. Swift cover can be emailed or phoned and you speak to people in the uk.

I'm insured with Swiftcover. Not claimed yet-touch wood. The only thing I have found,is that they prefer to do business by email. If you do need to speak to them,it takes ages for them to answer the phone. They are very helpful when they do,however.

Thanks for that.

FO - KWYM about NUD. We've only just got 3 years NCB back from them after a crash that happened nearly 2 years ago. The 3rd party ignored all their letters and it was only after threatening with a letter to fsa that they actually got off their backsides and chased them up. Grrr!
