HELP Self employment and young children with universal credit

What hours/income are those who are self employed but responsible for children expected to do with the new universal credit?
Also if you've a partner does that make a difference?

Afaik it's the equivalent of full time hours on min wage.

But are you asking as a single parent with pre school aged dcs because that will be different.

I really can't see it coming in for families at all. It just doesn't work.
