So my experience with Erudio began when I received a letter to say they have purchased a student loan I have with the SLC and I should wait for instructions. I never got instructions until I got a letter saying there is a problem that they are remedying and followed by a whole heap of backdated letters.
I have written explaining that I was paying year ly ahead to the SLC and I have not received the equivalent schedule /repayment amount from Erudio (nor any schedule that made sense at all). They have never acknowledged this nor addressed my concern. Also I said my circumstances are now such that I don't have an income and I will to apply to defer.
Eventually they sent me a form, but it was unlawful (the original deferment form) and I applied by letter instead with all the info and they eventually wrote back saying it would not be fair to others (imagine that, the loan was a mortgage style loan and I was the only applicant - and they send me an unlawful form of which many people similarly refused to sign).
So delays and delays continue and finally I am sending a complaint letter, together with a CCA request letter as I am not sure they actually do have the loan account with them or they do not seem competent to administer it together with a repeated request to process the original deferment application. Can't see what difference filling in a form with the same information will make legally, other than they are just delaying things to their advantage?
Making a formal complaint, as I understand, if they do not respond appropriately I can complain to the Financial Authorities.
