Anyone know about Endowments

Hi,

We have been informed out Endowment is going to be £18,000 short which is a bluddy shock and obviously this leaves us with a major problem and headache.

Does anyone know who to contact to get this money back or compensation??

Im sure i have heard that people have got there money back somehow. Please help.

Hi, is this the first projection the endowment company have sent you? They should also include an info sheet from the Financial Services Authority (I think they're called) on how to complain if you think you were mis-sold the policy in the first place. It is quite easy to set the ball rolling so start looking at your papers.

Just write to the company who sold it to you saying you wish to make a complaint. They usually send out a questionnaire for you to complete so they can investigate the complaint fully. If the company no longer exists you can write to FSCS (financial services compensation scheme).
