If you live in london you can very easily get enough assignments. It may be more difficult if you're in a small town.

Taking in ironing?
Walk a few dogs for neighbours? (you'll need insurance for this, but it's cheap enough)
Are you handy at sewing or crafting? My sister makes about that much selling hairbands and painted bags online.
A small cleaning job?
A Saturday job?

Easiest ways are get a pay rise, work overtime or save it through spending less.
Otherwise could you get some agency work in what ever you normally do or did?

I knew somebody who did Betterware. And earned a bit from that. A lot more than I would have thought. Agree with cleaning. Put an advert in a local shop window. Or you could do ironing.

Look up podengo. Market research around the country. Might add up!
