I'm hoping some one can help me about child tax credits. Does anyone know about the different elements of child tax credits? Thanks.

Yes, but I think you're going to need to be more specific that that! can you give any more details?

I'm on maternity leave atm and go back to work in Aug.but i'm going back part time to do 20 hours, I use to work 40 hours
My parter works 40 hours a week. Atm we get £112.00 a month, so i'm trying to work out what element we are on for child tax credits and how much we will get in Aug when I go back to work. Its very confusing, been looking online at tax credits calculators but it still doesnt make any sense at all. Thanks

How much do you earn and how much does your partner earn? Will you have childcare costs?

With your partner working 40 hours per week, you won't be able to get the 'bonus' for working part time. When I enquired, they stated both of us had to be working part time for that.

We both worked 40+ hours and were not eligible for the working tax credits element. We were eligible (tho no longer Angry) for the Childcare element.

I don't think anyone will be able to advise you apart from hmrc themselves because it's very complicated. Try their online calculator with various situations and see what works best for you. Unless they have updated tho, you are probably best to wait for the financial year end as it may just tell you what you are eligible for this year. Confused
