Can anyone give me advise please.
My OH has always paid CSA payments to his ex, other than for the 3 years that his daughter lived with us. (during which time we received nothing) She went back to live with her mother 2 years ago, and CSA payments re started. We no longer see OH 18 year old daughter, but have become aware that she is no longer living with her mother, to who we make the payments to. We have been told that because the mother is still receiving child benefit that we have to continue paying. Can anyone help with this? I find it very frustrating as I have no problem in making payments for the care of a child, but as the person we are making payments to has never done a days work, and has left her family home, OH's daughter and 2 other younger children to spend her days as a drunk, I see no reason why I should be funding this.
